I'd've added a "Vanguard" category. They're your frontline/first-on-the-scene type, whether that takes the form of a subtle infiltrator, a frenzied shock trooper, or anything in-between. I'd also switch "Psychic" to "Powerhouse" for big powers being thrown around, or maybe even make them two distinct categories. Those characters could easily slot into the "Heavy" category too, but I like the potential diversity of characters.
Unrelated to the discussion but..: I desperately need a Percy Jackson breakdown from your resident Mythology Nerd Jessica on the main NR feed!

This was a fun watch.
I’d actually like to see Storm be the newcomer in the movies. Going from being born in America, coming of age in Africa, then joining the team and going back to America as a young adult could be an interesting perspective. Also add in the difference between people in Africa praising her abilities and people in America hating her for them would show the differences in how mutants are treated all over the world.

I think they should go with the original team of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Ice man, Beast and Angel and have them already be a team and then interduce Storm, Nightcrawler and Colossus in the second and third acts and I think the brotherhood of evil mutants should be Magneto, Toad, Mystique, Master mind, Avalanche, Emma frost and Pyro and in a post credit scene tease Juggernaut
introduce storm's storyline and the gods first (going deep into her lineage), then prehistoric avengers vs celestials then apocalypse, evolutionary wars (1900s to present, including wolverine), arrival of dominion, before jumping straight to mutant discrimination stories set a few years from now (2030). That means your jean grey, cyclops and the rest show up laterrrrrrrr, like in a movie set in 2031.

“Forget Me Not” is a key player. He would have all the stealth missions. I wouldn’t even put him on a team if I was Xavier. I’ll have him do all the stealth missions with a heavy hitter. Probably Wolverine since his healing factor also makes him remember shit after House of M.
Brandon killing Magneto is a really bold idea that I think most people will dislike. That immediately puts him at the bottom of my list. Magneto is so interesting. Unless Magneto is thought to be dead and just in hiding waiting plotting and scheming in the shadows.

It would already have the school be established, and this would be the first new class of X-men.
Only just started watching this but I recommend for future assembled episodes that at least one cool feat be included for each character in their introductions that highlights their abilities, powers, skills. This would be especially helpful for the more obscure characters so they can be better considered. Just a thought.
The Summers family would give any team a run for their money. Just by sheer numbers if nothing else. Cyclops, Jean Grey, Vulcan, Havok, Hope, Nate, Ruby, Rachel, Cable, Hyperstorm and Stryfe. If Rachel’s baby daddy Franklin Richards showed up too no team would stand a chance. It’s the craziest family tree in comics
If you're including Ruby, you kind of need to include Emma, which actually adds some other branches. You could also bring in Madelyne Pryor given she's Cable's actual mom.

Also Anna Paquin Rouge is older, strong af and can fly and shit.

Beak, Glob Hermann, and forget-me-not are all excellent characters! I'd take all three of them and put them on my team for sure. In at least one universe beak is ripped and looks like an eagle man more than a chicken man. Glob Hermann lights himself on fire to beat the shit out of people, and forget-me-not is the ultimate in Infiltration. Teamed with a telepathically capable person he'd be incredible.

The team that would save the first class from krakoa. Wolverine would have 2 solo movies in between this 2nd movie and the first, possibly a weapon x story and then a live action adaptation of Hulk vs. Wolverine. Dazzler, Banshee, Colossus and Nightcrawler would leave for different x-teams however Nightcrawler would end up becoming a permanent member in a later movie with the other joining back up with the x-men occasionally.

My movie line-up (note: this is my line up if I’m expecting the full entire reboot after secret wars that is rumoured).

This first trilogy would be about the x-men forming. First class’s main villain would be Magneto and the brotherhood, Second Genesis’ would be Krakoa and United would be William Stryker and the Sentinels as well as Bolivar Trask.
X-MEN: MUTANT MASSACRE
X-MEN: GALACTIC STORM
X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX
The second trilogy would be focused around the Phoenix force and more of the cosmic side of X-men. Mutant Massacre would be Mister Sinister and the Marauders, Galactic Storm would be the war between the Kree and Shi’ar Empire, and we end with Dark Phoenix, with ultimately Jean Grey AND Professor X dying, splitting the team up.
X-MEN: NEW MUTANTS
X-MEN: SAVAGE HEART
X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST
This trilogy would be focused around the new cast of younger x-men members, as well as Magneto leading the X-Men. The New mutants would be against the hellfire club, savage heart would be Magneto being captured in the Savage Land and would be a rescue mission reminiscent of Krakoa, and Days of Future Past would be more of a comic accurate movie, including Bishop, Cable, Master Mold and Nimrod.
X-MEN: INFERNO
X-MEN: ZERO TOLERANCE
X-MEN: AGE OF APOCALYPSE
This trilogy would be about a combination of all x-men teams, forming a concise team including the best members. The new team would include Cyclops, Wolverine, Beast, Kitty Pryde, Morph, Storm, Gambit and Rogue with Jean Grey returning in Inferno and Nightcrawler rejoining in Zero Tolerance. Inferno would be about Cyclops finding new love in Madeline Pryor only for Jean Grey to return due to Mister Sinister, then the Goblin Queen would be the main villain. Zero Tolerance would be against Bastion and would have Genosha destroyed, and would have Magneto return to being evil, creating Astroid M. Age of Apocalypse is self explanatory, it’s against Apocalypse and his four horsemen, including Archangel, this movie would let Cyclops have his time to shine in being the leader.
It’s here where we reach our last overall X-Men arc
X-MEN: ONSLAUGHT

X-MEN: POWERS OF X
Every X-Men member who isn’t dead would return, onslaught would be about magneto creating an entity out of his hatred and anguish after the loss of genosha, turning into onslaught, then after this movie he would disappear but return to be a leader of Krakoa. Avengers: house of M and Avengers vs. X-men would mark the start and end of an era where there are no mutants, there would be several movies between these two. The mutants return at the end of avengers vs. X-men however cyclops would be seen as a terrorist like magneto is. House of X is about magneto creating a completely new nation of Krakoa and invites every single mutant, good and bad to live on it, he then sends his x-men on a mission to destroy orchis and mother Mold. Powers of x would be the last x-men movie and would act as a proper send off to the x-men.

My absolute irrational pet peeve is when people mix up telekinesis and telepathy. Tele means over a distance, kinesis means movement and pathy is from pathos, thought/emotion/feeling. Telekinesis is movement over a distance and telepathy is thought over a distance. Jean is a telepath with telekinetic abilities. Emma is a telepath only. Psylocke also has both but her telekinesis manifests in the form of psychic energy constructs. The best category name would have been psychic because in comics it covers all types of mental powers.

I think the team the MCU will go with would be Logan (wolverine), uh Dakken (Wolverine), Laura Kinney (Wolverine), and hmmmmm uhhhhh Gabriel Kinney (Honey Badger). Maybe throw in Storm for fun idk just my guess on what the MCU's X-Team will look like

All the vampires, all the beasts and Frankensteiny creations, all the disney bad guys
My leader would be Angel, brains would be Kuan-Yin Xorn, muscle would be Magik, my mind would be Legion, new comer would be Marrow and returning character would be Blink from days of future past.
Playing along my line up would be

Warpath as heavy
Deadpool as Reprise
New Comer as who ever you had as an extra pick. If I could pick it would be Dust

For marvel/dc one you should do is “building dream Rouge’s gallery/sinister 6/intelligencia/Brotherhood”. And one for just all of cinema is “Building best animated team”. Basically like the Avengers of animation. And you gotta have 6 people and the have to replace/emulate the OG 6 avengers.
I'm still wondering if X-Men 97 is going to set up for that specific teams introduction in the MCU Sacred timeline

For me, I would have made Prodigy as my Brains he just auto knows what everyone else does, and he remembers it. I know he tends to be a strategist for the teams that he's on (New Mutants and Young Avengers)
