there are way better braiders than this in New york. to call her the queen is crazy, no hate to her but she just said she can’t braid curly hair, the parts are crooked, the hearts and stars and messy. listen. if you want to shed light on something as cultured as braiding do it right. there are SO MANY BLACK stitch braiders in NYC that do 7 hour braids in 2 hrs. so many hard working african hair braiders who are self taught and have been doing it to make a living since they were children. amazingly neat with great prices and they are braiding sun up to sun down. she’s literally braiding silky hair… a braider can braid ANY TEXTURE OF HAIR. doesn’t need to be blown out. but calling her the QUEEN of stitch braids is CRAZY. that’s like calling a black girl the Queen of tacos.

They do make your head sore and heavy if there’s wefts or adornments in them.
If you get your hair braided often you don’t start to feel pain very new hairstyle
I did it with my hair and it did hurt for a few days. It has to be tight if you want it to last more than a day
