You know, it's been 36yrs since I was in my college marching band. When I came across the "Jukebox " TH-cam videos just over a year ago, it re-ignited my love for the sounds of a marching band. I was hooked immediately to the "Human Jukebox" and have been a loyal fan ever since. The hard work that is put into teaching, and molding these young adults into the most amazing band that I have ever heard, is obvious. When I watched this video it immediately reminded me of my record collection and 8 track tapes of 36yrs ago. I personally want to thank you for bringing back those memories.
I am a NC A&T Aggie, but I have to keep it real. Oh my freaking God. That was a complete Eargasm from the start to finish. SU deserves all the accolades they can get for this masterpiece. SU has once again set the bar so high that everyone is looking up trying to get to that level. Anyone who has ever marched knows that to come with that kind of finished product at the first performance of the season is almost unheard of.
S Torry I like NC A,&T as well. That dance squad of yours golden delight is the best I have ever seen in my life. There choreography is amazing and there field performances are like an event. Pure 🔥

Just think about this a few years back in Alabama now Head of Bands Mr. Taylor arranged SWV Rain and that thing HIT...now Mr. Simmons comes with this joint...smdh I don't know two better arrangers at one school teaching our youth these classic hits...✍✍✍

I always liked Barry White. This song in particular is a favorite of mine. I played this back a few times because it sounds really good. A very classy talented performance, and SU played it beautifully. Well done.

Simply awesome. The arrangement, the runs, the sound is totally off the chart. The staff really do a tremendous job with the young ladies and young men plus starting off this season to a great level, can't wait to see and hear what's next.

The odd thing is if you take those same arrangements from southern and put them in front of some of these other bands they would struggle with them...
