The Kalu-Kamzku make an appearance! WRickWrites now has his own TH-cam channel packed with even more stories. If you like his work, and he can write a great story! Please subscribe to his channel here: www.youtube.com/@WRickWrites-qy8pq
I hope you can work something out to continue covering Rick's stories from time to time to help guide viewers to his channel! Also you should pin your comment (even though it's in the description it can't hurt to increase coverage!)
@@travelingscienceman4404 by what I understood on some of the author's reddit posts the channel will cover only his non-HFY stories, while the HFY ones will be continued to be posted here
His ancestor was Douglas Adams. 😂😂. “The Restaurant at the End Of The Galaxy” & “So Long, and Thanks For The Fish!” Read most of his work as a teenager. 😂😂
What a great nod to a beloved classic. Packed with all the ingenious storytelling, humor and satire of the Hitchhikers Guide… a riot as always. Thanks to the author and channel for sharing !!!
Cute reference in the name, author, and a good scene overall. Still sticking with the avians as our POV, which is interesting as they have subtly different takes on not just the humans, but other species as well, as out view has been from a Xeno-Psych, a Xeno-Biologist, a Xeno-Biosphere expert, a trade captain who stumbled on the humans accidentally, and then one where it WASN'T an accident, and now a bartender in a space station. Each one has slowly moved us outside the academic and more to the personal, as even though each past the first HAD an encounter with them, most were quickly done, with no more interaction that was necessary for the setting itself, but it's growing less impersonal now, as this time the meeting was a complete happenstance, nothing more. And it is building a picture of humanity. The other races appear to have, if not unity amongst themselves, then a shared kind of psyche about each other. They will respond the same way to the same stimuli. Meanwhile, humans are completely unknown until they do something. For the most part, it does look like the better angels of our nature are winning out though. Even those on the Stat-Stan ship were trying to save the Amia they encountered, or so they saw it. Only the Pirates were needlessly confrontational, and we still don't know much about WHY they might have been like that, besides desperation and one man, who was most definitely their enemy, and his perspective on them This is a dang fine universe, and I look forward to more, WRickWrites, and I look forward to your expertise with the AI voices to bring the stories to life channel owner...BTW anyone else hear Legoshi in the advertising voice at the end? The wolf dude from Beastars? Or the PC from Dying Light 2, depending on how you encountered the VA.

_(2/3)_ Sorry, I think I went on a bit of a tangent there. I just like how this author clearly took inspiration for his species from real life animal behaviour. _(To be continued...)_
_(3/3)_ Oh, and I'm not too familiar with the Dying Light series nor with Beastars (that's the anime and manga, right?). But I'm not entirely sure anymore this narrator uses AI VA. I've read in comments he does some of these VA himself _(He voices the series of that Animal Caretaker with the Cats and the Orange Space Lamas / Space Goats. And he apparently has a Dis. cord),_ and I'm suspecting more and more he either has other people VA and / or uses some kind of voice modulation / editing magic. But I could be very wrong, here. ( the end :P )
Not sure why but hitchhiking in space sounds awesome going from galaxy to galaxy being brought to all kinds of different species while you are still traveling till you are satisfied
Do I hear this AI narrator 'taking a breath' at the appropriate time? If AI narrators have done this before I may not have heard it - too many years in field artillery.

Read it when it first came out and it still has a place on one of our bookshelves.
How was it? 5 books in the 4 volume trilogy?

Ohh, good story, rlly liked it, makes it feels much like some sort of slice of life, seeing it as it in fact would be, just another day in deep space
