BEAUTIFUL arrangement," flowey, " very casual, the roses are exquisite and beautifully paired with the gerberas. Loved this video thankyou. Looks like spring has sprung in Hungary. thankyou again.
Beautfifully designed, John! The wire brick is increasingly useful it seems and, as you say, provides a better water source. I love this design as it is traditional but relaxed, and not at all "stiff". Thank you for this one. I like the fact that you sourced your container from the kitchen! For many years in doing church flowers, I used 13x9 inch glass baking dishes for altar displays. They worked beautifully! Hope you have a great weekend, Friend!
Thank you 😀 Yes, This design came together very nicely - and the kitchen is a great place for containers - I like your suggestion for altar designs, and these have a little bit of weight to them that is a good anchor Nothing wrong with traditional designs, though the very stiff versions are really my style 😀 hope you have a great weekend!
Wow, that wire mechanic really seems to work well, John! Love that everything gets right straight into water, should last so much longer. Thanks for sharing 🥰
What I would like is being able to move a stem without the oasis breaking down. But you have to be ok with a little movement or stems not going exactly where you want them. Gorgeous arrangement!
Thank you 😀 yes, it’s best to get the placement right first time, and that just comes from practice. Repeated moving of stems will weaken foam - this frame works well as the squares are not too big so stem movement isn’t so much.
Relaxed yes, and so relaxing to watch emerge! The end result is gorgeous. I liked it best when you added the eucalyptus--not sure why, maybe because it lightened it? Maybe the round-leafed texture?
Beautiful arrangement and love the colours, the bowl is gorgeous, Denby Ode if I'm not mistaken 😊 I really like the wire cage and will look for a link to have a try at making one
Hey John! Great video - I love that ivy!!! I'm going to have to try your oasis brick. I normally use a Kenzan with chicken wire taped over the container. From your number #1fan in Austin Tx - 🙂
This is such a lovely arrangement John. The mechanics work so well. The result is just as good as using oasis. I really want to make a wire brick now! Have you used plastic coated chicken wire?
Thank you so much 😊 yes, the wire is plastic coated which is better for the flowers as they won’t get damaged or scratched - and it was easier to work with as well 😀
Such a delightfully full arrangement without foam

Yes, and direct into water is really the best for flowers. The uniformity of the wire structure really helps hold the stems in a consistent way. 😀
Very nice indeed.
😊 Thank you 🌼
Perfect combination of the colours and the shape of the flowers! Love it 😍

Thank you Lynne! 😀 I think you are right about the eucalyptus as it gives a contrast with colour maybe?

Lovely bright design, do you add flower food to the water in the can?
Thank you 😊Yes that is a good point - adding flower food will help keep the water clean and the flowers In the best condition
