It was so simple, but I should've shown it! I just used twine! I tied it to the tangle of vine, in sturdy spots, and tied it around the overhead supporting beams.

"chenille stems" or pipe cleaners. After the video, I started testing regular toothpicks, and they work perfectly as well!
