I love how invested he is in the universe. Marvel actors usually aren’t told the full plot of the movies they act in so for him to understand all the movies on such a deep level shows he is truly interested and cares about these films
Other actors on Loki (series) say he literally provided inside beats to the production because he knows it so intricately inside and out. Being an executive producer was just the next natural step when he's such as staple and is that deeply invested.
No MCU actor seems to be as smart with the universe as he seems to be. It’s a joy to see him fanboy.

the fact that tom can talk for 40 minutes about a character he didn't even make... means they casted the right guy.
I don’t think many actors can say they remember each of their projects with so much detail and passion like Tom. He names the people he worked with every film and references such specific scenes. You can really tell he was so invested in everything he’s done in his career and it’s so refreshing to hear him talk.
Him and Willem Dafoe in a movie together needs to happen. It should be something real and balanced and special between their two characters.

That's why everyone loves Tom - because he cares a lot about others (that's of course, just one of his diversity of good qualities). In this video, he shares his experience of communicating with all the actors and the filming process as a whole. If he talked only about himself, he would be considered as an egoist and wouldn't be so loved among admirers.

Check out the audiobooks he has read (The Red Necklace, High Rise, Octopussy and The Living Daylights. Also dramatisation of Dracula where he played Jonathan Harker). They're amazing. He even does different accents for different characters. If you can find it, I'd also recommend The Kingdom of Earth that he read at a live event. It is a bit NSFW though, so proceed with caution. There are also a ton of recordings of him reading poetry out there too.

😁The same for me! I'd never think of searching for Tom’s characters in the movies that I haven’t seen yet. It’s not only his narration and gift for storytelling but I guess mainly his opened-mind, attention, attitude and challenging thoughts about life that draw me in and I would listen to him all day long.
The depth in which tom hiddleston is able to explain his characters really shows how he is such a good actor. He understands them through and through and is able to represent them in the most beautiful way. Not only that but he also analyzes the movie itself and really explains the meaning of it exquisitely. I love tom and he is one of the most fantastic actors I've ever seen on screen.

Tom said 95 percent of his ideas were rejected for the Loki series. Disney probably gave him the executive producer role to assure he could not receive more than a certain amount of money, they've been doing that a lot to their workers lately.

....except for the fact that most of the time, he cant deliver any lines without sounding out of breath, which is a technique used by actors to sound more dramatic. its very annoying. also, he is about as generic as they come. whenever he talks he gives the generic answer. whenever he does ANYTHING, it comes out generic.

Tom honestly deserves the world and then some. He is so kind and genuine and nothing like all other actors you see. Never speaks a word of negativity instead shines on all others that are around him. He has intelligence and so much to speak on. We admire him for the human being that he is not just being an actor but just for being him.

I love that he watches his fellow actors movies. That doesn’t happen too often. It’s admirable.
I started watching Marvel movies because of Tom Hiddleston. I saw some clips of Loki and thought he was really interesting. He made an amazing job in understanding the character and show his wittiness and charm. Even tho I like Chris Hemsworth I found Thor to be boring. Loki was always more enjoyable and exciting to watch for me. I' m so glad that he got a Disney series, I loved it. Without Tom Hiddleston Loki probably be killed off a long time ago. He died and came back time after time because he was/is really loved by the audience.
Loki steals the show in every scene he's in, no matter the movie.
He has put his heart and soul into playing Loki and it shows. It's honestly beautiful to see how much he cares about the character.

"Only Lovers Left Alive" is a masterpiece, yes. I've seen it at exactly the right moment in my life, and it’s somehow managed to make a huge impact... and I remember thinking, like, "But this is absurd - vampires playing garage rock and folk music, and consuming blood lollipops..."... But surprisingly, it conveyed exactly that very idea that if anything can get you through the hardships of (eternal) life - it's only love. All the years spent on this project were definitely worth it!
"Only Lovers Left Alive" is a favorite... All the actors bring their A game, and the musical performance by Yasmine Hamdan is sublime. Jarmusch is a master auteur.

came back after seeing loki s2 ep 6 and i want to thank you so much Tom. Amazing show that was the only cinema that can up End Game! Well done to the writers and everyone who worked on that. Amazing.
Tom's role in The Hollow Crown series must be mentioned. His job playing Prince Hal, who is crowned Henry V, is utterly outstanding. How he moves through that character arch is amazing...especially scenes with Falstaff and his father, played by Jeremy Irons. The scene where he tries on his father's crown, and Henry IV wakes up and sees him!
Also his role as Jonathan Pine in 'The night manager '.

It's not often you see an actor so invested in the universe and story that they play a part in. It really adds to his performance in these movies.

i saw the light was the movie i cried the most over. i grew up on hank williams so to see my idol singing his songs felt unreal. i knew what was going to happen in the film but the hanks role was so well played. i would also like to shout out tom’s accent in that movie. as a southerner his accent was PERFECT.

I love this guy so much.
He deserves the world honestly. Such a lovely, down to earth man. I’ve only seen a few of the movies he is in (that isn’t Marvel related), he does such a good job at getting the audience to gain this attachment to his characters (as well as him) just by him going through things normal people would. People can relate to his characters. He deserves so much.

I love this man so so much. I remember when I first saw Tom Hiddleston back in 2009 in Thor as Loki and I told everyone that he is my favourite and they all asked if I'm crazy cause he is the villain lol and look now years later everyone loves him

People shall never forget Hiddleston's portrayal of Loki!
