I've only ever bought my scarfs online. when mon premier galop disappeared from the website, I knew I had to have it so finally stepped foot in a boutique. I live in alaska so this adventure entailed getting on a plane. it was so daunting (the store not the plane), but success! the assistant had to send away to another boutique to ship to my home. but it is finally mine!
Always enjoy seeing your picks. I splurged this year and picked up the Twilly Murmures de la Forest (Blue colourway) - it was as you said the Owl that got me (and the hearts). Also just received the 90 Carnaval des Animaux (Bleu Pale/Rose colourway). I love how fantastical it is and couldn't resist the pink elephants and the skeletal animals as well. As you pointed out, I enjoy a scarf that has detail no matter how I tie it - this scarf does not disappoint at all.
Thank you Maya! I understand your blue addiction as I have it too, lol! Navy blue is my favorite color so I tend to lean towards blues and pinks as they match well with my wardrobe. I love the smaller formats for Spring and Summer as it would definitely be too hot for large scarves so I tend to prefer larger scarves for Fall and Winter in darker hues. Love your choices. Annie Faivre is also my favorite artist. I would love to see a video of your collection. 😊

Thanks for sharing your picks! I have one Hermes scarf that is asymmetrical and I agree, it makes it so much fun to fold and tie to feature a specific color or pattern.
Great choices, Maya! I´m considering Les Murmures de la forêt in the jaune vif etc. colorway as well. It is a bit different, but very fresh and summery. Lanternes, ballons et cocardes is another favourite. The rose poudré colorway is to die for, unfortunately, it is not for me, I´ll get the gris bleuté. And of course Le Carnaval des Animaux. The bleu jean, vert, beige colorway looks great. It will be a hit with denim as the color description already indicates. Thank you for another splendid video. 🐩🦁🐘

I really love Danse Pacifique, La Selle Imaginaire and Brides et Destin. So many gorgeous beauties this season!

Great choices! I’d pick the same designs….but I’d have a hard time choosing formats that are less value for the money such as the small formats or twilly. Perhaps you can do a future video on styles for the 90 cm scarves that work in the summer when it’s too hot for a scarf around the neck? I’ve noticed many interesting styles on the Hermès site such as around the waist, as a loose top etc.
Oh, I know what you mean! Buying the small formats isn’t a rational decision, especially with the latest price increases, but they sure are cute! Thanks, Kathy! I love the En Liberté design, but don’t think that the twilly twins format is for me. It seems to be a new type this year, so it’s hard to say whether there are more colorways to come. If they treat them like the rest of their collection, I would guess there will be more!
Hi Maya thank you for your amazing content incredibly useful . Can I ask, do you find the chain d’ancre scarf ring heavy to wear or does the weight of it loosen and slip down a scarf. Many thanks. Stella
Good question, Stella! The original CDA is on the heavy side and can slip, but threading the scarf ends in opposite directions generally takes care of that. It can also be an advantage, such as wearing it pendant style with a twilly. I use mine regularly. Thanks for your comments!
