You are definitely my favourite tutor. As a beginner, I need someone who demonstrate how each key/stitch is done. There are no videos demonstrating the patterns with a search like you do. 🙏 Much appreciated.
Thank you! After many years as a knitter, finally, an explanation of the NO Stitch that makes sense. Using the terms ''action' and 'no action' to reads each box is so much clearer than the "do nothing" explanation I usually hear. I have often avoided patterns that are only offered as a chart because chart reading so confused me.
Hello I found this video helpful especially when you explained how to do the repeats. How would I read a pattern repeat when there is no red box? Thank you
first time knitting from a chart. to me the instructions i am following from a designer its so confusing. that I stopped and don't know how to proceed. when i purchased the pattern i thought it was written. all of it charted. the pattern is moonglow by designer zaneteknit . If anyone has knitted this pattern, i welcome your input. stuck on row 25.
The explaining is great but, next time use a lighter color because the red is to dark when you want to show the stitches it's hard to see them or use brighter lighting 😉
Charts or written instructions - which one do you prefer?

If there is no red box (or other sort of bold borders or lines) I would assume that I should repeat the whole chart.

What would I do without you 😢❤

I will never knit from a pattern that has charts. Soooooo confusing and time consuming. To me it is such a stupid way to do knitting patterns.
Isn't it nice that we have choices! Written instructions for those who love them and charts for people who are more visual.
