Most of you all don't know that J Rob qualified for LL on this bike in 250B class and I think one other B class after his Yamaha went to shit. And also raced the ol two smoker at LL that year, This is the bike that really got Geico honda looking at him. You all should have seen him rip through these modern day four strokes a few years ago on the peace of history. It just goes to show you its not always about the bike, the rider has to be sound in his fundamentals and form. J Rob with his modern day style on a beautiful peace of history. I couldn't tell you all the champions by name that year at LL, but I damn sure remember J Rob's name from there on out. So happy you brought her back out for the channel to see

i remember hearing the stories of this bad bitch at the millville regional. my buddy went up there to try to qualify in the 2 stroke class and you rolled in late to first moto and proceeded to WAX every single person there from the second the gate dropped.

85 was a mid-range short shift motor, lean jets a little & I moved niddle a couple of notches. Mixed 50 to 1. It had tall transmission gearing. So it liked a 53tooth rear. And most importantly remove the ATAC exhaust header pipe reducer for out door big fast tracks & reinstall for tight technical tracks or woods riding
