As a child; I took that ship in 87 with my mother for a cruise in Greece and Turkey, departure and return in Genoa. A few years later, my History/Geography teacher who happened to have been my mother's friend, told me about the fire which sank the ship, one year after it happened. Your video is the first time I actually see the ship meeting her demise, quite sad. In hindsight, as she was built, she looked like a mini Normandie.
Wonderful job.. Happy New Year.... I never knew she was so "cursed" per se. I never realized she had so many fires previously. She was a uniquely designed ship, and as rebuilt in the mid 60's she and the Angelina Lauro were showcases of interior design. I also never knew she was so small.. She was only as big as Statendam 57. Anyway, keep up the good work young man!!!
Could you please do a video about the ferry that sank killing about 359 school students. I think it was in the Philippines and it sank with all the students inside and divers had to do body recovery. The Captain was one of the first to leave the ship before it sank.
hey jamie , late great uncle harry served the the first part of world war two aboard empress of scotland , even going into singapore , she was a real beauty too
Beautiful boat. Tragic ending. Great video

The moral of the story: if you’re on a cruise waiting to depart and Moss Hills comes up the gang plank get off the ship immediately
When Moss steps on board, rescue is always near! He is a true hero!
I've always joked that I don't know if being on a ship with him is a blessing or a curse. 😂
Amazing video Jamie! I remember this tragic event very vividly!
