I like the idea of the Black, since Scarlett was actually the Black Widow.
I loved the fact that you stopped and said that what was on your mind, that's what makes your videos seem more personal to me than just a speed paint/tutorial thing. I have hesitated to print up mine and paint it mostly because i don't like the red color scheme, and i've seen a handful of others paint this one up that way. I am totally stealing the black color scheme, it pops so much more, so very good call on that. Can't wait to see what''s next.
My printer comes in this week. Been watching lots of videos on how to paint models. So far this is my favorite. I hope someday I’ll be able to paint at least as good as this.
I am so thankful that you are putting out more content like this. It is hard for someone like me to stay invested in a youtuber, but I enjoy just watching you make something you enjoy. Iron Widow is -- to the best of my knowledge -- not an actual Marvel character so you can do whatever you want with it! Personally I think a primarily black with subtle red highlights would be appropriate but something like this is up to the artist!
Agreed. I just wasn't feeling the red. I felt the black was more appropriate for the model, but hey...you can do pink if you like. 😆

Well done! I'm a fan of the Iron Man colors, so your color scheme doesn't do a whole lot for me, but I did enjoy watching you show us that you can change mid stream and alter colors if they are not working for you. Great job as well.
Tbh, I’m not a fan of the original red colour scheme or the black one.
If I got model, I’d probably go with the newer white colour scheme.

Great job! How did that resione resin work out for you? Was it truely wather washable?
It worked perfectly. And yes it was truly water washable. I used a toothbrush to give it a good scrub and it cured great.

How long would you say you spend on supporting your models? I'm struggling with mine and feel I'm outgrowing auto supports now but I don't have the patience to sit and do it manually lol
I still use auto supports. For me it's too time consuming to add my own. I might add a few here and there, but the auto supports suit me fine still.

what color did you use for the lights?
Are you referring to the arc reactor on the chest? It's just clear blue resin.
How do u get the hair looking good? I cant get the support marks out enough to look clean
I print it to where there are no supports on it.
So are u only supporting from the bottom of the head? I would love for u to discuss positioning of parts for better results in the next live stream.
I lay the head back enough to only get supports on the back and maybe under the chin. It helps with having to sand into the textures.
Wish she was in the movie dressed that way. WOW. I have to say, you guys are true artist’s. The people throwing paint on canvas or pissing on something make millions each year and they have NO talent. You guys do. You should have your stuff in the snobby galleries of LA and New York making the bucks. Keep up the good work. You are recognized.

I think I understand your thought process a little bit better now, its not always good to follow the color scheme of the concept art, you need to do what is good for you, at the end of the day it will be on your shelf and you need to be happy with it, and the idea of Iron widow can go any number of ways, like is it just black widow in Tony Starks underwear , or did Tony designed those underwear with her in mind, so it should have her color scheme, or is it what if? kind of thing, its very open for interpretation, for me I think black and red would look sick, its very fun to make those thought exercises, thanks for sharing.
Exactly! In the end you have to do what makes you happy. That was kinda the point of the video, but I wanted to share with everyone what some of us go through when making a model. It's not always fun, and can sometimes be frustrating. But as long as you do what suits you then the end result should be ok.

I looked at the models site you posted in the list and they done some amazing and sexy versions of Movie babes I love, Black Widow & Quorra & Major Motoko.
One small problem I have is that although I own a Elegoo Saturn 2 and wash & Cure system,
I am not going to be using it anymore due to the toxic nature of the system?
The cost of the resin and the PPE and huge amount paper towels and latex gloves is far too much to pay for just to do even these amazing figures.
I don't think my FDM printers could do the same level of details needed for such amazing figures!
Big shame as those figures they do are great value and very realistic.
I saved up and instead of buying resin etc. I got soon availing here a Qidi X-Plus-3 klipper fast enclosed and heated chamber core xy 3D printer with a big build bed.
Shame that those files only are it seems for resin. Have a great day yourself and happy new year sir. 😉

If you printed it yourself? This one just used one bottle of resin that was about $30
Cool idea and somewhat bold to leave the camera on and let the viewer participate in your re-thinking and re-working process, providing a glance into an artist's mind. Leaving that camera on, which you might have thought to be a bit risky or even "ruin" the video, actually turned it into one of your best, since it's so valuable to us learners! Thx a lot, and the outcome was worth the effort!

It's textured on the inside and the idea is to run a light inside to show the texture

Just LOVE Your work but in this case i think she is "to flat". The skin tones are amazing but to flat. You have videos how to paint skin tones and in those videos the result e by far better than this Black Widow.
I think it was more of the video. I didn't put too much undertone in this one though so maybe.
