I was abused and intimidated by my colleague. My complaint to Police was not registered under direction from Higher ups in Police and University. The lawyer also was sold out and his filing complaint in Court was dismissed as the Police filed wrong report in court despite my giving him audio recording of the incident. It's been 3 years now. Can I reinitiate the whole matter?

First and foremost there are thousands of cases pending in court ..that takes years to reach justice ..in the midst of this if we take matters of abuse by others to court..when will we get justice ..who has time and resources to go to court ...if this matter can be sorted in minimum two months only then can commin man go to police otherwise it's a big hassle.
I have one personal issue. ..what if a neighbour regularly goes around house to house badmouthing you over any issue she thinks right.. when reality may not be so. If ones reputation is destroyed who will go to court ..if in one such incident one reacts and gives that person good publicly will that also amount to abuse ..so where is the distinction . No one abuses or shouts without reason sometimes there must have been extreme mental trauma for years..I would like to know what law says in this matter ..plz reply. Thanks
