How to Hide Likes on Facebook

- You can now hide likes on Facebook as well as hide any other reaction.
The best option for hiding reaction counts on Facebook is by using the Facebook mobile app.
Open the Facebook app and click the three lines to go in the menu.
Go to settings and privacy and click settings. Choose reaction preferences.
Here, you’ll have two options to hide likes and other reactions on Facebook.

Erm this is not really what I was expecting. This setting just hides the number of likes and reactions it doesn't make anything you like hidden from other people
You know how when you view your activity history some sections say public, friends, friends of friends, and no one? How do I do that? I want to make it so anything I like will be set to no one
Can you also do this for specific users? I can't be arsed with judgemental people who always have somrthing to say about what I'm liking

Thank you for sharing this . Some of us have so many “ friends “ that simply watch us but , don’t like or rarely like our post . It’s annoying, they should or I should unfriend them . Lol!

That’s cos FB controls who they see in their feed. I think out of all the friends you only see in your feed the top 20 friends you interact with (so I read somewhere once, and makes sense too)

Did not work for me. I mean i don't want friends to see my reactions to other peoples posts. But they are able to see even if I enable this. It is also clearly mentioned that they can see.

"On posts from others", notice it only stops the number. Is there a way to stop others from seeing your likes on other individuals' posts? I don't think FB has a control for this...ty!

I had the same problem..Just go to settings and search reaction preferences then only it will show..
not working. The entire interface has changed. There's no such settings and the new menu looks totally different.
It doesn't work, I still see people that I don't even know come on my page liking my posts and pictures. if someone knows how to disable or remove like button from public pictures and posts please let me know.

Just what I needed
I wanted to find out if there was a way to either make it so you could turn off the reaction feature on all or certain posts on your wall and make it so comments left wonder the OP or if you could choose the different reactions that people could choose from? I have noticed that lately people just post a heart or a like but they will not take the time to leave me a comment and to be honest with you I get mixed up if people are leaving the heart or like because they like the content or they like the post?

I don’t understand why you can’t hide WHO likes your photos. The setting are so difficult now you have to tap tap tap tap just to hide who can see your posts

Good video. How can I hide (temporary) likes and reactions that show up in Newsfeed so that I only see comment and can respond to those. I don't want to have to click on all the reactions to clear them from Newsfeed. Thanks
The option is not available on my Facebook account.
Question.. I have a FB personal page... and a garden club business page. Even tho I have unfollowed my own garden club business page, I still get sent to my personal FB page all the reactions and comments from the garden club business page. It is redundant to see the same reactions/comments twice.

You can transfer files from one fb to another. Ex. If we have two facebooks, we want to block one?

Can you tell me why one can see WHO liked on FB but not on CHATS. On Chats one can only increase the numeric of that like but not see WHO the person is ?

@howinfinity can you hide a friend’s reaction from your audience who isn’t a friend? I mean just only hide it from one specific friend? Not a blanket cover. Just one friends reaction?

I don't use phones; I use computers. Under Facebook LIKES how do we ADD more likes to the already created list of LIKES? There used to be an option which appears to have been removed?
People can still click the reactions and see who specifically liked your post. So it’s not really legit

I was looking to hide the Likes on my page, not for the posts. The actual page likes, I rather just allow the public to see the amount of followers
This is incorrect, if you read the first option. At the end it said your to a post will still be visible to you and to everyone else. This what I wanted, but by turning this on, it will not help.

How do you hide your likes and other reactions from ONE particular friend on Facebook ( ie, make it so that that one particular friend cannot see what you have liked or reacted to, even if you both "liked" same post), not from EVERY friend... The above is why many folks came to this video, ie to find out to block ONE PARTICULAR FRIEND from seeing our reactions, but, at same tjme we don't want to unfriend that person nor fully block that friend

for a reels how do i see who like the reel it say i need to click the number under the thumbs up but nothing happen it is a Facebook reel and i can see how many likes it but i can not see who are the 8 people who like it
