This lady pilot will go far i feel it wont be long before she is a captain , i loved this video , how stunning is the soloman islands loved this video very much ! thank you !
Those two would be a blast to fly with. That was fun to watch. Two pilots just owning what they do to the point that they are relaxed, just out for a cruise.
Patricia is now the Best female Captain of Solomon Airlines. I've been on her flights numerous times and she displays professionalism and top skills as I'm frequent flyer in the Sollies. Was lucky enough to be on board that flight from Seghe to Honiara in 2018 when those props were set up in the cockpit if I'm correct. Much respect to both 👏
Thanks for the nice comment her skill is pretty good and its nice to hear that you like her work. I alos was really stunned by this performance and by her skills
I have been visiting the Solomon Islands over the last few years and have flown on the otters out to where we were based. The country is beautiful, the people even more. I’m a pilot myself so naturally took the closet seat to the cockpit that I can. They are very professional while being relaxed and enjoying what they do. See you when the COVID is behind us and we can travel back to these beautiful islands once more.
Everyone that thinks Patricia should get a raise, "like this." Patricia, the great Hostess Admiral Angelic Patricia, you were a wonderful hostess. Frankly, the Solomon Islands deserve to make a summertime vacation video, hosting Patricia to sell the Solomon's as a shopping makes and vacation resort. The are plenty of Islands for Marriott, Hyatt Hilton and others build several vacation resorts. Instead of giving you a key to the city, you should be holding the key to the islands right now. Tre questions: 1. Do you wake yourself up in the night from your giggling out loud? 2. Do you wake giggling? 3.Do you fall asleep sniggering? You Capital - you cracks me up. I was wondering what you were writing on you hand. You got me. Cool that you took the airclips hosts job.
Really enjoyed watching this and the crew!... We lived in Honiara July 68-70...Dad worked at the Lands and Survey Dept and Mum at the Agriculture Dept. We flew in on a Fiji Airways HS748 and landed at the old fighter strip at Kukum Beach as Henderson was closed due to a 500lb WW2 bomb found in the runway during repairs etc...BTW Patricia may be interested to know one or two of Dads surveyor collegues did a surveying trip to Rennell in about 1969 and filmed there, which we saw...on the beach and at a village as I recall...Honiara is HUGE now!!!......Best Regards Laurie Carroll NZ
Finally it’s out, thank you Air-Clips for all your hard work. I would have been buying your videos but I’m 15 and I don’t yet work, but that doesn’t mean I can’t follow the channel I love 😊✈️❤️
These are the real authentic aviation videos am fully subscribed and hopefully soon coming to visit the beautiful islands and kudos to the amazing and professional crew their team chemistry is amazing.
You guys are awesome. The video was interesting, entertaining, and oh so professional indeed. Truly. . .it motivated me to want to do more research into vacationing in the Solomons. I can already see it would be enjoyable. Flying with you guy? That would be awesome as well.
Great video! Enjoyed all the commentary and video. I couldn’t help, but think back to my first flight in Solair’s Beach Baron 55 from Henderson to Fera Island on March 28, 1975. The flight inspired me to get my pilots license, which I did in 1978. Now at 69 with over 1000 hours.
Thanks for the beautiful team experience and phantastic landscapes you show us, the ride is giving us a very special enthusiasm as we cannot travel due to Covid. At least we can fly our glider planes as soon as weather allows for it in Germany, our planes are ready, Ventus 2bx, new Arcus-T, LS-6, LS-4 and good old ASK-13 and ASK-21, so lets hope for some good thermals. But in the meantime enjoy flying the friendly and beautiful skies of the Solomons, stay safe and happy landings to all of you.
Great to see a Twin Otter Solomon Islands Clip - have done dozens of flights there - always great crew and very professional - The female pilot who inspired you Patricia was probably Elizabeth - a great pilot and also a great supporter of charities and a role model to young women - all the best to you and your crew tenk u tu mas for the great video
Felicidades excelente vuelo... mucha alegria que bueno eso es lo lindo de la aviacion.. un abrazo a los colegas por excelente trabajo y a ti por excelente material..
BTW could I suggest to the production crew the Sigma FP full frame camera for 4K and as its weather proofed ...very small to carry as well etc....Rgds Laurie
A while back, I was flying for Pilgrim Airlines using three Twin Otters out of Groton, CT. into JFK - Groton Ct. to New Haven and then into JFK. Pilgrim was sold later to Red Bluff Airlines in New Jersey. I moved to Los Angeles.Brings back memories
Lovely pilots and what a great operation they run. Feel someone needs to send the airline a karcher jet washer and a tin of paint for Christmas this year. 😂😂
How long was the entire excursion? including landings, takeoffs and then back to home base. I would think it was a full days work. Good job to both pilots.
Thank you for your story! You have also educated me about the Soloman Islands. 900 islands!!! I got an idea from you talking about your islands. I should buy some kind of small sailing boat and just sail from island to island visiting everyone and staying within sight of all the islands and stay safe. Did you say anything about storms? Do you have hurricanes or any other kind of horrendous storms? Anyway, you have moved my imagination and enhanced my knowledge of the Pacific Ocean and her treasures. Bye bye for now. Robin D. Williams in Laguna Beach, California.
I have really enjoyed your flight, but just to let you know, l & my sister have flown in the same kind of plane that you have flown in just now, we flew from Glasgow to the island 🏝️ of Barra which was trimendous as the plane lands on the beach 🏖️, a great flight both ways.
I'm an 83 YO retired USAF Pilot. Most of my flying was as a Helicopter Pilot with the U.S.Air Force Air Rescue Service. I flew both single-engine H-43 LBR (Local Base Rescue) and twin-engine H-3 long range Heavy-Lift Helicopters. I much preferred the latter. During my 21 years of service (1955-75), duty took me to the USA coast to coast (including CA, NV, TX, FL plus 7 years in Oklahoma), Labrador/Canada, Philippines, England, Vietnam, and Thailand. I was privileged to make the first night long-range overwater hoist pickup of a Fighter Pilot who had ejected from his burning jet into the North Sea ... and to fly/ferry an Air Rescue Helicopter from North Africa to Iceland utilizing day/nite aerial refueling. Upon arrival there we had to make an emergency 'below minimums' weather approach and landing due to a bad weather forecast.

I can actually see the captain blush when the first officer teases him as being shy ☺️
Lovely 🙏
The first OFFICER she is very very beautiful.
I wish I could obtain all my licenses and work for that airline
Very interesting.

Sensacional.
Incrível.
This is going to rival the Kakuma Dash8 q100 flight. Beautiful pice from Airclip

That would be cool! Thanks for the ideas ;)

Nice!
That is a cute FO!
Can you advise what you set for: Climb power, Cruise and Decent / Approach please. I fly the Twin Otter on the sim and looking to improve the process.

After watching this film I would like my son to be a pilot!
that's nice but their job is also pretty stress full don't underestimate that :)
🛩🥰That was fun😂❤🛩
Bravo Mme vous êtes très bien inchallah
S U P E R Performance 👍
That’s where I would have been next month flying on their one and only A320 between Brisbane and Honiara had not Covid stopped international travel 😩

Twin Otters operate in Canada's north and have an enviable reputation for rugged, reliable operation.
Bozu ! Qui chante Solomon Airline à un moment dans votre video ? Merci de Nouméa .
Does anyone know why DeHaviland mounted the engine throttles on the ceiling?
