The families of these ladies and Helvetic Airways must be extremely proud of these two Pilots. Great ambassadors for Helvetic and aviation as a career choice for the young. This video should be shown in schools it is so Inspirational.

This has to be one of the best cockpit flight videos I've ever watched! The flight crew were absolutely incredible. I use to work for United Airlines and this brought back so many memories and I miss being a part of the amazing operation that is an airline.

I was an Operations Controller at Washington Dulles Int'l. My department was the smallest of all the groups but we acted as the nerve center and brain of hub ops. All planning, coordinating, logistics, and supervision went through us. @@AirClipscom

Working for Air Canada for 20 years, after my line of work was transferred from Vancouver to Montreal base I spend 5 commuting to Montreal from Vancouver almost every week (4.5 - 5hr. flight). In all this time I experienced female member here and there co-operating the flights but once on a Sunday red eye flight from YVR to YUL it was 100% female crew operating A321 - captain, first officer and all flight attendants. And it was as smooth and without any hitch as usual. People should be always judged on their merit. Well done ladies, you worked for it hard. 🙏

An all female crew - a huge jump from airline flying in the 60's and 70's, where in the US a lot of the (all male) flight deck were WWII vets (steak and whiskey crowd). My airline pilot dad and WWII vet (ret 1977) would be speechless. Good to see qualified and talented people of either gender performing so flawlessly.
Why the fucks that a "jump" to offset those brave men
FO is going to be a great Captain. She was incredibly thorough and did a wonderful job communicating with not just the crew but the camera. Fun to watch. How lucky is the camera operator in the jump seat. What a job.
It was really nice how she took the opportunity and explained everything with the camera man as a possible viewer
@@AirClipscom The cameraman did a fantastic job connecting with them as well creating a comfortable environment for sharing….If he ever needs a vacation, or you need another camera operator, I’m your guy!!!! CPL, MEL, Instrument. Took a free online course on photography once. That’s my resume haha.

I remember fondly the Helvetic crews when I worked at Birmingham Airport, they were all lovely.

the jump seat is really cramped imagine if you're a tall person. so inconvenient for both pilots . love the energy in the cockpit and great views

Thanks, great video, wonderful pilots with great backgrounds. Usually when flying across Europe you have to change frequency in most sectors, sometimes the squawk code as well, so I was surprised there was so much time for uninterruped conversations. I am glad they did not overshoot their destination by a few hundred kilometers like some US pilots accidentally did a few years ago, being in such an intense conversation that they forgot everything around them🤣. A friend of mine recently missed a frequency change overhead italy and all of a sudden he had a fighter jet beside him ... gladly nothing bad happened and it did not have any consequences for him. Losing the sequence of frequencies happens quite often and is one of the resons everyone should listen on COM2 or better COM3 to the emergency frequency 121.5 MHz, because ATC will call you there if you got lost in the many frequency changes between sectors.
They managed to make it look easy and not stressful, despite the most complicated part is when on the ground. Great contribution - many thanks.

The frequency is of course a little bit stressful but I guess if you fly a lot around europe its just in your head. I would overshoot the landing as well maybe I should consider working for a american airline 😂
