After i watched one of the newer videos i checked out the some of the others and can say all of them were Hits for me. Some really helpful and also innovative content with rare approaches on common wow themes. Wish i discovered earlier
You are a really good teacher. Macros can seem quite intimidating to me but you made them easy to to understand. I'm gonna go try make some snazzy macros on my paladin.
I have played WoW since Burning Crusade so i am rather experienced with the game, however, i have never beennablento figure out macros for WoW. Wherever i wouldntry to learn off youtube if further get confused and give up. Thank Youuuuuu for making it more approachable and learn! You have a new subbie, wish i had found you a long time ago.

It worked on the first try! Thanks a lot for this vid. Was tired of casting hunters mark, then hitting ctrl and 1 for pet attack. Now it's all rolled into one and you got yourself a like!

You saved my life ! As a new player in wow macros can be fucking tricky , where i came from ( mmorpgs) macros is seen as illegal thing , im playing for 1month and ive been pressing key by key , spell by spell omg

hey Bruce, it is a month old answer (couldnt be active in youtube for a really long time due to personal reasons) but afaik, how the macros work, their systems and rules havent been changed in a long time. What did happen, was that when classic launched, the revised the classic to work with the modern, active system. So every tip and trick mentioned in video should work also in Dragon Flight.

Hey, is it possible that a macro activates itself if a condition is fulfilled? For example, putting a buff that is on yourself as a condition, so it recasts itself if it runs out.
How do you bind a macro to your keys? I know it is in Key Binding in the menu options, but how to you know the location of the macro when you put it in the action bar?
I simply drag and drop the macro icon from macro menu to my interface, just as you do with any spell in spellbook. Then use keybinding to put keybinds to interface bars.
What do you mean by text macro? If you mean to just write something, you can use /s to say, /bg to battleground, /p to party /w -nameofplayer- for individual player. or /1 for general, /2 for trade etc. A macro that goes /s Hello, will say Hello at normal say (white speech) everytime you click it.
@@viaroka_classic a macro that just types words out? or maybe even add a emote with it as well in final fantasy i can put /ma "cure" /party party members I'm curing
can you give an example? Perhaps than we can solve why. Just make sure you are careful with what you write, blanks or 1 letter wrong will make macro not work.
A common problem is if you have something already bound to that combination. For example a "/cast [mod:shift] Shadow Bolt" macro bound to "R" will not function if you already have something else in your WoW Keybinds settings bound to "Shift-R". I hope that makes sense, it might not be your exact issue but worth checking!

@@esuvii true, game will always use the keybind rather than macro, if there is one.
