Started my hike around 1pm, made it to the fishing destination by 2.30pm. Lough was completely packed with trout and had some of the clearest water I've ever seen, you could see the fish swimming about from the bank. I fished the lough for about 2 hours. then I started the more challenging part of the hike at 4.30pm. Made it to the summit by 5.45pm and was all set up, fed and watered for 7pm when the beer commenced. Views came and went (mostly went) and surprisingly the stars came out for about 15 minutes.
