Stranger Sings! The Parody Musical

Join us for the Houston premiere of STRANGER SINGS! The Parody Musical, with book, music and lyrics by the brilliant creative mind of Jonathan Hogue! Art Factory introduces a side-splitting rendition of the hit Netflix series “Stranger Things”, bringing its comically ‘upside-down’ perspective center stage and embracing the nostalgic glory of the 1980s!
Embark on an evening filled with the escapades of Mike, Eleven, Lucas, Dustin, and the entire Hawkins crew. Experience a night of adventure, thrills, teenage turmoil, synth beats, questionable parenting, intricate love triangles, low-budget effects, dance-worthy monsters, and who knows, perhaps (finally) some justice for Barb.
STRANGER SINGS! stars an impeccable cast of Houston-local performers, including Elizabeth Chrisman Shurtz as Joyce/Will, Luke Hamilton as Mike, Sarah Beth Sims as Dustin, Christine Mompoint as Lucas, Sam Lank as Eleven, Matthew Shurtz as Hopper, Katy McCants as Nancy, Colton Berry as Steve/Jonathan, Alexander Mompoint as The Demogorgon, and Olivia Clayton as Barb. The premiere cast also stars a brilliant ensemble (playing a multitude of your favorite Hawkins residents) including Ivanna Martinez, Allan McFarlane, Julia Noble, Abbi Rodrigue, and Pari Zangara. STRANGER SINGS! is Directed, Choreographed, and Designed by Founding Artistic Director Colton Berry, with Music Direction by Jane Volke, and Stage Management by Ashley Frye.
STRANGER SINGS! Runs February 23 through March 10 with Friday and Saturday performances at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 5:00 p.m.
