Loving the Warbands, exactly what I need as a DM.
Enjoy Gencon! I’ve been twice but it’s an expensive couple of days when you’re travelling from Europe. The first time was our honeymoon, the second was the release of the L5R LCG. Would hope to get back next year (if I can stop spending our income on Wizkids goodies).

Amazing Howdah but the cheap colored plastic on the other ogres makes it a pass for me, especially at these prices

I'm glad they put in female ogres! Warhammer has only 1 and she just looks way too manly. The goblins are an awesome option as well with howdah!
Not sure why they made Ogres here so green? Both art and previous models from Icons came about human-toned.

Any word on when this warband is actually supposed to release?
It may already be out. Several online stores say it’s in stock and even the WizKids shops have an Order Now button instead of Pre-Order despite there being a preorder notice in the product description. Weirdly there’s no release date listed in the win.WizKids.com catalog that I can find which is usually the most definitive source. -Grady
While the howdah ogre is great looking, I'd have much rather have another generic ogre in this set. The howdah is just too specific to be used frequently.

When I saw the ogre with the club I got interested...and then they got worse and worse from there.
