  • Joshua and Caleb explain - The Parable of the Talents
    Why did Yeshua speak in parables? So that when the time came, we would understand. Our hope and prayer is that you glean from Yeshua's teachings and gain the understanding of His parables as you begin to look at the heart of Yeshua throughout the Bible. His heart is for you to understand Him, to know Who He is and His love for you. Walk away from the skepticism and choose Him today.
    (Matthew 13:10-17; 1 Corinthians 2:7-8; Matthew 25:14-30; Matthew 24; Matthew 25:1; Judges 15:14; Matthew 25:31-34; Matthew 25:41-42; Matthew 25:46)

    I mean this with the utmost respect, but all of the technology to fulfill the prophecies in Revelation is here and ready now. With the speed of technology development, another twenty years to match up with your 100 years generation example does not make as much sense to me as it might to others. I have been watching prophetic signs for 37 years and I can't even keep up with the speed of things lining up all over the planet. I am just one grateful, saved Christian who enjoys your videos and wished to convey my thoughts.

    Very Very interesting video. Are you guys dispensationalists by any chance? This interpertation reminds alot of dispensationalistism. Thanks ill be checking out more of your vids. Ive recognized that us gentiles learning more about the jewish people and their tradition makes the bible alot easier to understand.

      Thanks for watching us FN,
      Many of our beliefs fall into the camp of dispensationalists and some don’t, but we hate modern day classifications and terminology because of the division it causes among believers. We merely align our beliefs with what we find in scripture.

      This Judgment is for Gentiles only and has nothing to do with the Church =Mat 25:31-46
      *Future Gentile believers need Works to have eternal life. Examples-----
      *Mat 25:32 (all the nations) are the Gentiles only, cross reference with Joe 3:1,2,12
      *Mat 25:35-40,46 the sheep need to (do) or have works to have eternal life
      *Mat 25:41-46 the goats (did not do) or have not works so they go away into everlasting punishment
      *Mat 25:40,45 (the least of these My brethren) and (the least of these) is Israel only, cross reference with Acts 2:29/HEB 2:16,17 = this verse must be read in King James bible. Most bibles are wrong in this verse.

      Shalom Anton,
      Anyone can apply a parable to their life on a personal level. But this parable of the talents was a warning to the Jewish People living in the Age of the Law and the Tribulation, to live their lives by faith and obedience before they are sifted in the Sheep and Goats Judgment. Believers in Messiah are exempt from this entire parable; yet, we should still take to heart how God wants us to live and act no matter the time in history.
      Blessings in Messiah,
      The Bearded Bible Brothers

    🙋‍♀️ All believers are “grafted” in. So how does this only apply to Jews only? In Yeshua, there is neither Jew nor Gentile. 🤷‍♀️

    • @OurJewishRoots
      @OurJewishRoots  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Shalom Forgiven,
      The disciples asked Yeshua a very specific question in Matthew 24, relating to the End of Time, and when He would finally rule. This was connected to the future of “National Israel”. Spiritually, everyone in Messiah is adopted into the family of God, both Jew and Gentile, and there becomes no distinction between the two because we are all one Bride. However, there would be no point in God making distinct covenants with distinct people groups if He didn’t have the mind to fulfill them. A Gentile can never become a Jew by blood in the natural, though he can become a citizen of Israel by marriage and a lot of hard work. That’s the same how things work in the Spirit. By adoption, by marriage, we are a part of the family of God, but that doesn’t necessarily make us Jewish. Even in the Millennial Reign, nationalities and kingdoms are important. Egypt, Assyria, they all hold specific territories even though Messiah is King over all, and if one of those kingdoms gets out of line, all the nation suffers the consequences. God must continue to keep His covenant with Israel, a nation, forever. If He will not maintain His specific covenant with that people group, then how can we be assured He will keep His New Covenant with us? All this to say, though we can spiritually apply the Parable of the Talents to our lives, the deeper meaning was meant for the Jewish people. Specifically, the Jewish people under the Age of the Law, those who would endure the Sheep and Goats judgment. Thank Yeshua that He has a better judgment for His Bride, for ours will be the Judgment Seat of Christ!
      Blessings in Messiah,
      The Bearded Bible Brothers

    So, this interpretation seems to assume postmillennial eschatology is true. If it doesn’t apply to modern day Christians fit that reason, then many other parables wouldn’t pertain to us either.

    But the Jews are but 1 of 12. He spoke to the House of Israel & the House of Judah. Jesus came but to the lost sheep of the House of Israel. John 10 and Hosea 1:1-10..

    • @OurJewishRoots
      @OurJewishRoots  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Pike,
      When we or anyone these days use the term “Jew” it almost always refers to anyone from the twelve tribes of Israel. Israel itself is full of Jewish people who do not refer to themselves in the ancient term “Israelite” any longer, but they have gathered from across the globe and across tribes to become a single people once again. Though you may have Ethiopian Jews, Chinese Jews, Russian Jews, or good ole’ Ashkenazi from the Bronx - they are now all Jews whether they originate from the tribe of Judah or not. FYI, even in Bible times, the Kingdom of Judah consisted of the tribe of Judah and Benjamin. And yes, the whole House of Israel and Judah takes part in God’ s master plan for prophecy :).
