Once, a world renowned surgeon I worked for, told me during a surgery to never forget this one thing, "Originally ALL medicine was resourced from Mother Nature!"
I call herbs God’s medicine cabinet
For every ailment you may incur God has made an herb to cure😀🙏🏼
Everything "medicines" are made of is found right here on planet Earth. They may TRY to copy some things, but the ingredients are still from the natural world.
Modern medicine is just that. Derived from herbs, spices, plants.
@@terilapseyhuhhhh? You read what’s in them???
This Guy is the Real Deal ! The world needs more people like Dr. Jones. Thanks Doc!
I second that Bosco!
I'll say he Is!!! He was on 20/20 😊👏👏👏👏
@@jamigen1 cool. When.
Agree, what a great guy and so helpful.
Yes indeed!
Be careful, others vets are going to be furious. God bless you for making this.
I planted an entire hedge of rosemary about 18 years ago. Now I know of another use for the trimmings.
This is a great message and I’m sure it will help a lot of people! Here is another true Rosemary story, We had a turkey named Rosie whose leg was bothering her. She was biting at it and it was itchy and disturbing her for weeks. We tried every thing we could think of to help heal the skin on her leg and kept it covered with socks so she couldn’t bite it. eventually we came around to putting oil that had a sprig of rosemary steeping in it, basically a rosemary oil, on her leg and that is what finally cured the itching. It cured it quickly and it cured it permanently 😁. I’ve seen studies to that show that the long-lived people in Italy eat a lot of rosemary too. Go Nature!
That’s amazing. What kind of oil did you use?
Some stores have olive oil and Rosemary steeping in ît..
@@carolinatucker2950 or you can just buy a large plastic bottle of virgen olive oil a snip off a couple med size fresh rosemary sprigs, and add them yourself? Plus I add a couple of garlic pieces too! HEAVENLY to cook with too 😋
Tutu Saints: Thank you for sharing such an uplifting story 🙏
I agree, that we live on a earth of abundance, where no one should go hungry 😐
I am very aware this need not be. Each of us is the light of the world and by joining our minds in this light we proclaim the kingdom of God together and as one 🥰💛
WOW!!!! That is because the Papst lives there? He blessed rosemary. Thanks friend.
Tula is always such a patient patient! So sweet.
I have sent only 2 of these videos, and I noticed right away how mellow she is.
@@paulaw3399 She's always so tolerant, patient and trusting. I bet Dr. Jones' patients all loved him when he was in practice. His cat and neighbor dogs are just as trusting of him as Tula.
I ❤this guy! Wish I had a vet like this. Most vets are money hungry and just want to over vax. Been following Dr. Jones for years!
I'm so happy I found your channel. I have 5 dogs and 6 inside cat's. I also have a rather large colony of kitties outside in our barn. I live on social security and can't always afford the vet. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us.🐈🐕❤️
Bless you for caring for so many animals! Lol, I have a lot too and appreciate how Dr. Jones' remedies save us so much money and even better, offer safer treatment options. Love Dr. Jones!!!
Feline greenies treats. To clean cats teeth and gums. I give a few like 15 a day to my cat. Tigger is going on 9 years old. Very healthy teeth and gums. Gets rid of bad breath also. I never run out. My cat is my best friend.
🇦🇺🐾✌️
You might schedule the spay mobile free sometimes
Spay/neuter your barn cats. You are creating the problem.
I very much respect your standing up for your beliefs as a veterinary, and your love for animals is awesome
I buy or grow Rosemary and I Grind it up in my coffee grinder so that the sharpness is gone - makes it safer to eat. I don't want them chocking on the sharpness of the unground Rosemary needle. I also dehydrate beef liver in my oven at 180 degrees. I first sprinkle the ground up Rosemary all over the beef liver so the beef liver is pretty much covered with ground Rosemary and then I shove it into the oven - door closed (or open) for several hours. I then turn the beef liver using a pair of tongs so I won't burn myself. I have 4 "fur kids" and they absolutely LOVE when Breakfast time comes around. You should see them sit around the kitchen and wait for Breakfast. I love my Kids - and they love me too.
Good idea!
We had Newfoundland with allergies to chicken and corn. He would get ear infection frequently. We were washing them out but he kept shaking his head so hard he busted the blood vessels in his ears. His ears were swollen up filled with blood. He had to have surgery twice to fix the arteries. We found some natural food without chicken or corn and problems went away. You need to check ingredients for it.
You have no idea what a blessing you are to us, fellow Canadian’s as well as the rest of the world!!
❤
I had puppies with ringworm. I often made rosemary tea that my cats liked to drink. I took the leaves from the tea and squeezed the oil from them onto the pup's ringworm. It was as if a magician had waved his wand. The ringworm disappeared as if it had never been there.
Thank you. My dog has recurring red mange. I'll try that on him.
Hi. Your cats drink rosemary tea? Did this help them with the itching and scratching? Can I ask how you make it? do you just use tea bags? My senior kitty has been scratching allot. he doesn't have sores of rashes or anything. I seriously think it dry skin or it could be the allergies the Dr. are talking about. I have an appointment to see our vet, but I'd like to have some info to talk with her about this whole thing.
@@40bpaula Flaxseed oil....?
It's amazing it helps with allot of things including viruses & inflammation
ACV worked for my cats ring.worm- gone!
@@christinekoenig5669what is ACV?
Common herb: Rosemary.
Grind it up in your coffee grinder. Sprinkle it on your food.
I am going to try this. Love.to hear others experience with this method. I also use ground fennel powder.
That made me laugh when you put the bag to the camera and you said how good it smells, like we have smell a vision . You crack me up. 😘😉
Yes, very cute!!😉😊🐕😻✝️⚜️
Tula is so well behaved, she just sits there well your talking to us..
I was thinking he pulled out the wrong bag. 😂
and it is easy to grow

You are AWESOME!!! ONE IN A BILLION! IT IS SO REFRESHING TO FIND SOMEONE WHO STANDS UP FOR HIS PRINCIPLES!!! BLESS YOU!!!
I cured chronic miserable yeasty ears in my dog by giving him sardines, and he loves them! Must be the omegas that he was low on. I started by giving a bigger portion to load him up & then maintenance is smaller portions, & just once daily. Be sure they are the canned in water variety with no seasoning. Canned sardines are cheap too. I store the open can in a sealed tupperware dish in fridge to minimize smell.
Sardines are cheap at dollar tree
I’m trying this
Great idea. Giving the equivalent fish oil supplement may be an option, also. If fresh or frozen sardines can be sourced that may be good, also. Thank you, I’m going to try this.
Tula looks so comfortable standing on your kitchen island. And, she's very disinterested in what you're talking about...... Too funny!
I dearly wish I still had my pet care diary from 30 years ago when I was fighting to heal my cats liver damage... and stumbled on rosemary to assist in speeding the recovery of his liver. He was exposed to a well known lawn treatment for weeds (Nutrilawn). He came home shortly after a neighbor had had her lawn treated, foaming at the mouth and I could see he was close to having a seizure, so raced him to my vet. No, I had no idea my neighbor was going to do this or I wouldn't have let my cat out. He was saved thankfully due to the livers great ability to recover but I always tried to help them achieve robust health using herbal and homeopathic remedies. The vet was amazed at how quickly his liver returned to normal. All I recall 30 years on was boiling up rosemary tea and giving this to him, though not where I sourced the information. Always check if an herb can be dangerous to a specific species, and start with dilute amounts. Clearly rosemary has many benefits
THANK YOU! Can't wait to try it.
Love rosemary and it is easy to grow. We just dry some and grind it up and put in our dogs homemade meals. Thank you for all your great information, we use herbs as much as possible also. Tula is too cute!
how much did you use in your dog's food?
Need to know more
Yes that's what we do. Dry our own and grind it to powder.
I was wondering if powdered rosemary in it's favorite food would work. Thanks 😊👍
Do you de-leaf the sprig and just use the leaves? Or do you grind the whole sprig?
I have been following you for over 2 years and I am so glad you had the DVD for Dogs. Bless you for all your hard work and dedication.
Thank you Dr. Jones for sharing the information and for loving pets
Thanks, Doc! You are a great caring Vet!

This vet is the best, years ago I went in with my senior pet, very impressed
You are my favourite Vet to go to online. You really are the most genuine person to go to for any problem with my Mini Schnauzer, Georgi. She has allergies and you never fail me Dr.Jones. Off to get some rosemary. 🙋🐶
So thankful to have found you on here thanks for your videos
Thank you Sir. I really enjoy your channel and knowledge you share . You are so very kind.
Your the best doc,god bless you forever
Rosemary! Didn't know that common rosemary relieves itching!
be SUPER careful about this herb, as for some dogs...many shelties can have a seizure from ingesting rosemary. Please use caution.
Holy cow! My Nina looks just like your Tula. I also love the information you gave.
I agree, I love this Dr! He knows what he's talking about..❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Dr Jones.
Making a strong tea using herbs (rosemary, thyme, nettles, etc) and then adding in the water bowl works well for dogs...and easy to give to a cat in a syringe too :)
Good tip, thank you.
I need to know more how and what to do
I have a rosemary plant growing and didn’t know you could make a tea, sounds delicious
@@mariesmith1814 Rosemary is one of the best herbs to use as a tea..anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and works well with sage for those nasty hot flushes of menopause :) Simply take a tablespoon of dried or a sprig of fresh plant and pour boiling water over it. Let it sit a few mins until the water changes to a weak tea colour. For humans drink hot/warm, for our furry and feathered friends either add to the water bowl or use a syringe. Happy healing! xxx
How much do I add to the water bowls because I have to fill the water bowls up about 4or 5 times a day sometimes for the dogs and cats drinking all the water do I add to the water bowls every time I feel them up
@@mariesmith1814 For cats and dogs a 1 to 10 part ratio perhaps just a couple of times a week. See if they like it first, lol :)
Your the Best, And GOD Bless you thank you for all that you do. ❤️🙏

My Staffie & I thank you, we are trying this.
You are truly a blessing, Dr. Jones! Going to try the rosemary for Abby and her sick little itchy ears. Thank you so much for all your help.
Just found your channel. Already subscribed. I’m a retired critical care/ wound care nurse. Seen lots of different wounds and skin eruptions. I’m a big believer in combining modern medicine with more natural options.
Great video home remedies helps a lot, when my dog had surgery couldn't stick her tongue out to get her nose wet, so I tapped her nose with coconut oil about three times a day to keep it humid, and she loves the smell of it 😻
Thank you for all your advice I think you are fantastic
Thank you sooooo much.

You are amazing DR Jones !!! I wish you were my dog's doctor here in Edinburgh, Scotland .. Always good information...always sweet.. always well researched... simple and close to nature ....
Thanks Ruta from Scotland :-)
Would be happy to travel to Canada to have a loved pet treated by this wonderful man!!!❤❤
@otter999: The good news is that if you avoid vaccines, and feed your pets human food, provide filtered water, you will not need a Vet. Of course, if your dig breaks a leg, you'll need a Vet.
Interestingly, the people that can't afford a Vet, have the healtiest dogs.
Love your vlogs! Thank you.🐺🦊
Thanks for watching, Julie!
Thank you for the info
Hi doc love watching most off you channels you are amazing! And very carring thanks fore your awesome home remedys.
I love your approach and the info you impart in the videos. It is so helpful. Thank you.

I read that rosemary is also a natural flea repellent for dogs. So you can use it for 2 different reasons 🙂
peppermint works also.
We use Brewer's yeast that has a touch of garlic in it - no fleas, no ticks
Thank you for all the home remedies
You Rock! Thank you for all of your help!
Thanks
Rosemary is used in dog foods and treats as a preservative so check the label
Thank you for this helpful tip. I cook with rosemary and love the smell and taste of it. I put it in an omelette yesterday for Sunday brunch and gave some to my dog🐾.

Thanks Doc! That means a lot... I put my little Marley's health first, sometimes above my own. That may seem foolish to some, but without her, I wouldn't be alive... Only the best for her .. every day is hand made food . She makes a difference in this difficult world and I love her for that!
@@VeterinarySecrets ok, how do I do this?
It’s good for inflammation in joints also. I cook it in my dogs food as he has hip dysplasia. He seems to favour the recipes that contain rosemary.

Thank you 👍 that was great
Glad I found this video! Will check out more. Intriguing using herbs on animals. Love it
This is also excellent for allergies/itching & any inflammatory condition: Forest Leaf (brand name) Quercetin with Bromelian, Vit C & Stinging Nettle. Zinc is also recommended to help uptake it into the cells.
Tula Tuesday 🎉 Thanks for this as I need it right now ..enjoy the day folks 🎉

Shared this with a friend who's German Shepard is suffering terribly with no solution from her vet. I hope your channel gives her and her baby some relief and answers.
Apple cider vinegar mixed with distilled water helps my Shepherds skin. But I have to spray her every other day with it
Our previous German Shepherd was diagnosed as gluten intolerant. Once we eliminated any dog food with any wheat products, she got better! Come to find out, many GSDs have a gluten allergy.
Figures, conventional medicine fines people who are truthful! Dr. Jones, you're the best. You confirmed all my hunches about oral pesticides, spaying, neutering. Thank you for this natural remedy for my poodle mix. So so so grateful to have discovered this channel!
You're welcome, happy to help.

I am so so happy I came across your channel Dr. I have a mini poodle baby and I am always in search of Natural medicines. thank you for all your advices
Welcome!
This is wonderful information, mostly for my mother! She has chronic itching and she also is on a diuretic that doesn't work all that well, so I may encourage her to try Rosemary instead and see if that helps both of her issues. You are just a blessing and a wealth of information. Thank you so so much! ❤
Thank you, am I understanding correctly? I can use Rosemary Extract instead of Capsule? Thank you
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Was wondering tho will that also help subside the ear infection?
Thank you Dr. Jones. ☺️
You are very welcome.
Dr. Andrew thank you for posting your videos, they have been very helpful and also has saved me money on vet bills. I'm watching this video b/c my dog has dry flaky itchy skin and she weighs approximately 35 pounds and I need to know how many of The Natures Benefit Rosemary leaf pilla would I give her
Has the rosemary work out?
Thank you for this...I have a very itchy dog..I am a vet tech and my only option that has helped relieve him has been Temaril P and I dont want him on that forever. I am going to try Rosemary asap.
Thanks Doc!
😊
Thank you for all you do. You are so Appreciated!!!
I appreciate that!
this is a winner for me and my dog; my pup stated having seasonal issues to the point she'd licked off almost all the fur on the lower 1/2 of her body. She's a small white dog, I'd taken her to normal vet with no results, he then referred me to a vet dermatologist, I didn't take her but have spent over $300 trying to find comfort for her. 1/2 way through this video I mixed 1/4 c coconut oil with about 6 drops of rosemary oil and started lightly messaging it into her skin. about 30 min later she is sleeping soundly, her red inflamed skin is now back to it's natural pale pink. I am about in tears to have something that has given her such comfort in such a short period of time. HAT'S OFF TO YOU! THIS IS A WINNER!
Thank you!
