Amazes me how people can work in this field and be so heartless for the millions that can’t afford vet trips or emergency visits, sickening and pisses me off, this video answered nothing

I remember a time in the 50s and 60s when vets were not big business. They were affordable, came to the house and didn't charge astronomical fees. Now it's all about money. They let your pet suffer and don't give a damn if you can't afford to pay.Sheer and utter GREED.

I agree with you. If you have a cat that is in pain you have to go into debt hundreds of dollars. Gabapentin is the best pain meds that you can give your cat but you need a prescription to get it. And this drug is not expensive. I have to take it for pain myself.

How is your cat? I do know if you don’t have no other choice & it’s in that much pain just take it & drop it off as a stray at the animal shelter it’s better then watching it suffer in so much pain. For you to do that it’s true love. You can keep a eye open & when it comes up for adoption send a friend or family member to adopt it back. Your welcome
Answer: go to the vet 😩we can’t catch this feral mama who has a bad abscess and is giving the infection to her kittens through breast milk and we want her to at least be comfortable. My family doesn’t care that aspirin can be toxic they will still break off a tiny piece to put in her food because there’s nothing else we can do if we can’t catch her to get her to a vet. :(

This is not helpful. I need something immediately because vets don’t accepts walk-in’s here in my location. My cat was attacked my something and has punctures all around her face so she is swollen and apparently I can’t do anything to help her. Vets don’t want to be honest and helpful and give out any information so they can suck you in to drain your pockets dry.

Hi can I give my cat tumeric if they on water fluid tablets and blood clot tablets. She went with heart problem . They damage her leg. She panic alot at vets but fine at home they said they wudnt treat her leg yet as she had 3 sedation. No pain relief no nothing. We asked yo Bandage it they said no. We are now scared to take her back. Becuase her breathing . As they wanted to put her down on first day. We she has been fine for over one mth. Now she jumped work surface and can tell she is pain. They won't give no pain relief without seeing her but her breathing we are scared to take her They even said she has aanxiety at vets. she has been running around fine even climbing stair and jumping on my bed But then jumped off the work surface. What pain relief can she have plz
My vet said can give gabapentin
My wet gave her gabapentin 2 days ago she is not eating and very weak she's 5 month old
She had a shot fir rabies had reaction her leg joint got swollen
Gabapentin is made for a couple of uses and then was marketed to be prescribed for many non related issues. Also what is not well know about gabapentin that is abused by heroin users in high doses that the doctors push on people cause a similar high. Gabapentin is for nerv pain caused by a viral infection or herpes.
