That was hard to decide - all three artists did exceptional artwork. Each one had something special to tell. In fact everyone who participated, did really well and I liked that all artists work were at some time showed! I think you made a great choice though. Not only the artists were great, the sitters were too - just loved them all! Thank you for letting us being in on it, just wonderful - you all had a special atmosphere captured so well - a great show today! 🧚🏼♀️💕
Hi there, love the show! FYI...the post mark on the background is an actual small town “ Abiquiu” in NM not Albuquerque. Also known for Artist Georgia O’keeffe about an hour north of Santa Fe. Beautiful country!
Having the sitter in front of one and working almost entirely from a mobile or tablet in the hand is a very strange way of painting IMO: symptomatic of the times we live in where people are evermore isolated in society, and being with someone in person is too uncomfortable: too real.
Hello, I have been enjoying this amazing program for years, But, can’t not accept drawing from tech. and ignoring the sitter, it is disrespectful in my eyes… in edition, artists know they need to finish a portrait in 4 hours, but rarely they finish it! Only FINISHED work should be judged, just saying😌still, very inspiring, I would apply if I was living closer, across the ocean❤️🗺️
