Releasing violent agitators in Nigeria is equivalent to surrendering to criminality. The so-called agitators in various parts of the country are criminals and should be treated as such. Peter Obi is overestimating his political influence in Nigeria. Calling for the release of Nnamdi Kanu is misguided and a misplaced priority. Kanu is a criminal who must face prosecution, and any Nigerian using violent means to agitate must also be prosecuted and held accountable for their crimes if found guilty. One of Nigeria's major problems is lawlessness, and strong law enforcement measures are needed to restore sanity and order in our country rather than letting criminals go free.
