      @@stonekase it will not so much an issue if Mr Akpati was just a little bit respectful in addressing the attorney. Even if he felt the barrister doesn’t deserve to be called Barrister(although he is), at least show some kind of civility by address him as Mr. just like barrister Ejiofor addressed him-Mr. Akpati, not Ejiofor Ejiofor! That shows how much indignation Mr Akpati has for the barrister. More so, Mr Akpati has never ceased sweeping the truth under the carpet.

    I wish Dr Abati and Tundun could drill Buhari during their last media interview with him the way they drilled this barrister. This is despite the fact that Buhari was giving off point answers to their questions, there was never a follow up question to interrogate him further. Instead Tundun and Abati were just looking like 'zombies' while the man said all his unimpressive 17th century stories. Mr Abati, let’s just say there is no difference between the 2 but even if Nnamdi Kanu is a citizen of Mongolia, Kenyan government has no right to hand him over to the Nigerian government without the knowledge of the Mongolian government and in the case of Kanu as a political detainee the government would not agree to hand over their citizen to a state that is hostile to the said citizen.

      I have been in England since the biafran war and l have dual nationality. The benefits of being Nigerian far out weighs those of being British. The British will never ever accept you as an equal. Nigeria might have problems galore but it's my home. If had the same opportunities ie.work ,security etc. I have in England l would swim the Atlantic to get home. The reason l am in the west is purely financial the way of life in Nigeria is natural and close to nature. Oh! did l mention the British are mostly pagans. Astigfirallah.

    Dr. Ruben Abati, it sounds like you already took a side on this case. This is fine and permissible but I'm not sure how expedient it is as a journalist. However, as a lawyer yourself it is clear to you and I that according to the Nigerian constitution Nnamdi Kanu is presumed to be innocent until he is justly and fairly tried in court. Let's wait and see.
    Time will tell. The whole world is watching 🤔

Abati speaks more like an aide to Abubakar Malami and Buhari than an unbiased journalist throughout this interview. When will Nigerian journalists stop being biased? Very unfortunate

      Reuben Abati read law in 1999 at the Lagos state university while Tundu Abiola is a UK trained lawyer so, they are not claiming anything but actually knowledgeable in the law.

    Reuben Abati likes to be called “Dr Reuben Abati” and calls Sunday Igboho “Chief Sunday Igboho” but can’t be polite and neutral to address MNK as “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu”. He is always calling “Nnamdi Kanu”. Mazi simply means “Mr” in Igboland. Not that it matters but Abati’s bias is to be pointed out.
