Been watching them for a while and yes! This episode made me subscribe. Nothing as good as seeing men, more importantly AFRICAN MEN being in tune with their emotions 👏🏾 great great topic
I love this aura of men talking about self love ,vulnerability, accountability, relationships, time and also not being sensitive when beautiful is used to praise a man who's gradually doing the work❤
Bien's honesty is my absolute favorite thing about these two episodes. His realness about relationships, being yourself, learning how to be yourself through a relationship/ a marriage its refreshing to have someone who's honestly talking about marriage and partnerships.
Also the quote I am taking from this: If you do not know yourself in Solitude you have no business being in a relationship" That one spoke to me. Loved this!!!
I always loved Bien as a vocalist & songwriter then I watched his interviews on CTA & Over 25. And now on ManTalk. I love his way of thinking and his aura - confidence & realness. He knows he is a celebrity but he also knows he is a human being. And I love that! So relatable! This is one for the books! 🔥🔥🔥
This episode just makes me love Kenyan men even more. Y'all are gems...so intelligent, self- aware, and definitely setting such a beautifully high standard for us women and your fellow men. Eli has me in stitches, Oscar has me scratching my head with his depth, and Bien gives me aha moments with his realness and sobriety. Thank you gentlemen for sharing yourselves with us.
"when the student is ready the teacher will come, don't go out there looking for love"....Powerful shit, I also heard Lil Wayne say the same thing some time back..
It's 2 am as I am writing this. This episode for me actually came in the right moment. I was just feeling low and very depressed and I was just there scrolling through TikToks and I stumbled on a video where Oscar was telling Eli the basis of his obsession with on people and it felt like he was talking to me. I just decided to come and just watch an episode and luckily this was my first episode. I've learnt so much and you guys have impacted a lot on me. I needed this. Thanks Bien for the knowledge and for the music ( I've been a fan since I was 6 years old). Eli and Oscar keep up the good work. As Bien said, you guys came just when society needed to talk on our mental health.
Mantalk is evolving in an amazing way! It is so clear that you guys are putting in the work. I like that my son will grow up with such content at his disposal, that the generation coming after us will know and respect the journey of "BEING" because Mantalk did pave the way! This is your year guys! #menofsubstance
Bien saying guys need to have a sober mind making the marriage commitment reminded me of a book/Bible study programme called "Ndoa" so I'll just plug it here. Talked to people who have said they wish they'd gone through it before getting married and they would have been better for it. As always, nothing but love for mantalk🥂
In the long run the most unpleasant truth is a safer companion than a pleasant falsehood -Theodore Roosevelt, this was hands down one of the most informative and honest episodes ever 👏
Mhmm the part about picking a who will be there for you or who you will be there for when money can’t bail you gave me chills 🥺Bien’s mind is so beautiful
💯 Say no to posturing and performing. Kuwa tu wewe. Authenticity is the most underrated value today. Also the power of being alone is legit the most prized possession, afterall, we came to this world solo. Alone is our default status. Let's normalize it. Where is the 4th, 5th and 6th part. This was too short Oscar/Eli 😄 Thank you gentlemen!
Love carries a lot for sure BIEN.. You've said it all... The genuine support you get is actually the realest moment of it all.... THANK YOU MANTALK for this... Thank you!
Mantalk is an all-rounded podcast. Yes, we get to experience where the male mind is at in terms of relationships with self and those around them in aspects of social, economic, spiritual, and many others fonts, but it's also refreshing to hear and experience how as a young person I can relate to this conversations and take lessons of personal growth and development without being limited to being a lady. This was the best episode yet. Thank you.
This is just the beginning and I'm here for all of it. The episode has been glorious. Bien came with wisdom. I enjoyed it as much as Oscar & Eli enjoyed making it 😊😊.
As a new subbie and a lady who has been in a relationship for 6 years this mantalk.ke episode with Bien has come at such a pivotal time in my life. Thank you Eli and Oscar! Keep this going!
ManTalk ManTalk. I have watched your episodes back to back. Running out of bundles and all but whew! I love your podcast and I am officially here for it all. Kudos! I'm proud of you two!
This was such a great episode. Tuned in from the 🇺🇸! As a woman, I have learned so much and thank you for both for asking thought-provoking questions and creating a welcoming space that provided the comfort and security for a conversation on such a cherished and intimate topic can provide such great insights on self-love, and relationships. I think a lot of what Bien shared can be applied to platonic and familial relationships as well as romantic, and I believe anyone who watches this episode will truly take away a lot. Thank you for all that ManTalk is, and continues to be!
Me agreeing with Oscar when he says Bien's and sautisol's music will surpass te test of times, I relate to sautisol's music from 2010 and I feel like it's talking to me today, the do a really great job, I'd also love to add Nyashinski's music to this list of incredible pieces.
Such a great way to start the season. I am in a relationship and I got to relate a lot and also learn so much about love both self-love as an individual and loving my partner. Thank you Bien and man talk, this was so amazing and inspiring. One of my favorite podcast. Good job guys, we really appreciate the educative conversations with you and the good vibe all the way. 👏
Woooork yaaas.. getting to know that there are men who are pro work is very encouraging, Totally appreciate your space keep inspiring and growing this generation!!!🔥🔥
Wow👌 Very insightful podcast. It's given perspective on how good it is for men to be expressive, self-aware, and also the concept of individuality. And also Bien's opinion of not rushing into marriage just because you are broody😄. This was so good. Big ups to Eli and Koome.🔥
Mantalk, you did it again!!!! So much learning. Bein Aime, the best advice has been about being honest always, the question of staying the distance and all it takes and best of all is knowing who you are before trying to connect with another. The truth remains the truth always and social media untruths are ruining people's lives. Let's live our best lives and mind our own business.
Very wonderful discussion👏🏾👏🏾. Personally I still agree with Oscar. I definitely feel like I am a completely different person rn from who I was 3-4yrs ago and I always feel like I would be divorced by now had I gotten married then. Focusing on self development/discovery first (not just financially,) makes it easier to bring the 100% as 2 separate entities coming together to build something amazing because you already know thy self so to speak. The other dynamic stands a risk of codependency which gets tiring and possibly toxic in the long run. (it’s possible but I think it’s trickier) Bien brought valid points but in the end he still kinda contradicted himself by telling Eli not to get married right now at 29 which I whole heartedly agree with.
If this episode has not made you subscribe, you are selfish. Big up ManTalk. Can we start campaigning for 100K subscribers. I have an idea... Let's all share part 2

It's how Bien humanizes whatever topic he speaks about for me, his perspective makes his interviews wholesome!
Bien is self-aware I love that. I love his car example on marriage. Classic😎

kuoa na economy enyewe kenyans man. .... sisi bado tunapendana kabla tufunze vijana njia za kuget doh. i wonder,
Bien has perfectly responded (from minute 20) to the boys' neverending debate. I hope that question never comes up again.
LOOOOOOOOL
It's true! They both want the same thing just at different times.
"when the student is ready the teacher will come, don't go out there looking for love"....Powerful shit, I also heard Lil Wayne say the same thing some time back..
