I got a 2007 RM85 with the big wheel kit and boy it's a ripper, it's hard to believe how much power these 85s can make until you actually ride them, they are FAST
There is a reason why most of the current top pro’s were all racing these back in the day. Tomac, Anderson etc all raced and won in these yellow rockets.
Ken, you're a legend! In the mid 70s in so. AZ, Z50s and SL100s were everywhere for dirt cheap. Most were beaters, which is how we learned our mechanical skills. Love your vintage dirt bike content!
I had a 03 rm85 big wheel. Vforce 3 reeds. Pro x crank and piston. Tusk gasket kit.OEM carb rejected. Pro taper bars and grips. Gold chain with a 47t and 46 rear sprocket for more topend.
This hits close to home. I test rode this bike when I was 12 years old, it was brand new back then. Compared to my yz85 it felt lighter and had better suspension.
Holy he'll, I've never seen an 80 rip 4th gear wheelies like that....I had my mouth open the whole time on this test ride....I've heard that the latest rm80 itteration was the best 80cc PowerPoint ever produced prolly cause of the power valve system it had unlike other 80s mainly w a basic unencumbered exhaust system w no variable timing mechanism to increase efficiency or torque....but from the video it looks like this thing starts pulling harder much earlier in the rev range, and I can just see and feel each phase of the powerband just screaming as tht power was spread out all the way to redline, Jeez.....I never knew 80s could be this fast....what a clean hi revving thing of joy and beauty....awesome job on graphics....not too much not too little....sometimes w graphics , it can seem less is more sometimes if the design complimented the bikes looks....and I must say , taken at face value, this bike seems like it could of been designed in 1989 w the tried and tru configuration but her graphics design actually helps bike appear much more modern so AWESOME job on the graphics
All your staff is passionate, loyal, and believe in the goal. I like that you favor that rather then other qualities. These rm85 big wheels were my dream bike as a kid. At that time i think they were the only big wheel.
Those 85cc two strokes rip.i bought my son a cr 85 big wheel. Him coming off a honda xr big mistake.was way to much bike for him. Sold it and got him a Yamaha ttr 125.i couldn't even keep the front wheel on the ground on the cr.
I weigh 210 lb I had a 06 RM85 and it was the strongest little bike I've ever had in my life it was definitely a ripper definitely not for no newbie for definitely not for no newbie or underage kids that does not know how to ride I'm 38 years old in this little bike definitely amuse me I had it for almost 3 years and that thing ripped every time start up on 1$t kick every time my neighbor had a 400 CC Kawasaki four-wheeler 4-stroke and my RM85 would smoke it every time is somebody trying to have fun on one of these bikes it's definitely the bike to get because it is a ripper and it does not disappoint shout out to Suzuki RM on this one and Kaplan America he wrode that like a beast!
Hello there I’ve recently brought one of these little weapons 🤟💨 is the conrod ment to have side to side pay?? I know up and down is bad.. only have side play??? Thank you 🤙🏻🤟
That is one gorgeous and little badass 85 and 2 stroke ripper. I saw a grown man, that didn't have much riding experience, especially with 2 stroke power bands, flip one on my neighborhood street, years ago, and break his back, in the middle of my neighborhood street. Damn good thing he was wearing a helmet, because if he wouldn't have been wearing one, he would have cracked his skull open, on the concrete neighborhood street. That was the first time he rode a 2 stroke racing bike, and the last time. Dude is scared to death of them now. Live and learn. Scenarios like that, are why I don't allow people to ride my motorcycles. If anybody is gonna wreck one of my bikes, it needs to be me. Nobody wants to take financial responsibility if they wreck another person's motorcycle, which is why I don't allow anybody to ride my streetbike and dirtbike, no matter how good of a friend they are to me.
I built a 1:1 pr2 105cc 2002 full race spec supermini uk 02/03/04 champ and then made it uk fully street legal vids on my Chanel you’d never know how much i regret getting rid of that bike!! 25 and 9 stone that old girl would ruin your life real quick lol but that’s what we all loved!
These things are fuckin scary. I was damn near 280lbs when I rode one and it shocked the hell out of me, mind you I just hopped off my geared r1 when I pulled up to my buddies house before I rode it and it still feels fast as hell. Don't be fooled, it'll throw shit off a shovel.
She's fast . I hope yous can help me get a RM80 or a Yz80 .awesome video. I just love 80s so much well in this case 85. My 83 yz80 was fast but I don't think it was as fast as this beast is

I dont think I would let a 10 year old ride that I saw you on it and its wicked fast I have to admit.
10, no. 12, yes. When they have hair on their nuts, it's time.
You should see how fast they are with a 65 pound kid on it!
This thing is a rocket ship! Mint condition! 👍👍
Wait until they 11, problem solved
That bike sounds like a swarm of pissed off hornets 😂.
Doing a full rebuild on my 02 RM85.
Rather own any 85cc two stroke over any Chinese pitbike even the 190cc. Wether you are 14 or 45 years old 85s are so much fun
What makes the rm great is its engine responds to porting better than anything in its class.

Squirrel cuts out a big line for Kaplan and then we get super mini 85 bench reps
