- It’s the gateway for cocaine into America with dealers and traffickers fighting for control. Last year, 217 people were killed in drug-related killings in Miami. Confronting this crime wave is the elite SWAT unit. With an arsenal of military-grade weapons at their disposal, they’re also responsible for tackling armed robberies and at the frontline in the case of terrorist attacks. We followed them at work for several months.
This documentary was first released in 2017.

I don’t even live in FL but thank you for keeping everyone safe and what you do
In the name of all Miami residents, THANK YOU to all these men in the elite units for having our backs
SWAT MEMBERS THX FOR WHAT YOU DO. STAY SAFE
But Drugs been going through there for years now they feel like they doing something give me a break now they want to bust someone and they been looking the another way for years this only changes of the guard my opinion
You have obviously seen that bad ass Clio of the coast guard jumping on one of their semi submurs yeah ?!
Thank you GOD ALMIGHTY for men who put their lives on the line everyday protecting Americans🙏
Great job GUYS 🫡 #BackTheBlue ALWAYS 💙
Rafael the “newsman” driving 80 mph while talking and listening to the scanner in his hand should be arrested for dangerous driving!!
5:30 bro looks exactly like how I'd imagine a Miami drug buster to look like in a PS2 game
He’s really putting the cameraman, never dies to the test by also being reckless himself
That first bust didnt look like it was worth my tax money. Show us the big cases with kilos and millions of dollars.
SWAT TEAM you are amazing, god bless you, thank you for your service.
Bro said Miami has 2.5 million people, I think he meant to say the county has that many people. Also, the hostage exercise they did was at FIU not UM.
I wish we could still have shows like this made.
Great job guys. Be safe👍❤️🇺🇸
Imagine you’re just driving to work in the morning and see a Bearcat with SWAT dudes hanging off the side lol
Regular day in South central LA
😂😂😂
100% respect for all police ,They keep our country and citizens safe ,BLESS ALL OF YOU
Stay safe out there 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That "sniper rifle" was another sks in a bubba'd stock! 😂 I wish I had them both. I collect sks pattern carbines.
Probably not probably linked to a dozen shootings 😂
An sks is not a 'sniper rifle'
It always seems like any fugitive heads towards home after they do bad stuff i wonder why? Seems like they would have a plan to just head out of the area
That second dealer was wearing hospital socks 😂😂
Cameraman running lights and speeding line the cops 🥴🫠
20k?! DAMN!
Swat is not as tough as they think or seem
U serious Alex? Hope this is trolling. Your channel has one video showing your face and your name lol, genius move bro
Does Rafael have a channel?
Omgawd. You keep talking about the city of Miami and downtown art deco buildings etc, but you only showed the city of Miami Beach. Your show takes place on the mainland. There are no vast beaches on the mainland.
I thought it was funny the two cops on the boat out in the middle of the ocean with their sirens on what are they doing pulling the fish over
20:56 Nightcrawler in spot
At 6:41 that looks actually like the same rifle they found in that guy's back room.
2017 production. This ain't from now, things has changed a little bit.
Talk about overkill, how much money do you think is spent arresting these lower level drug dealers?
@miguelcruz9576
I think you are starting to understand. This war on drugs that we all know hasn’t made a dent in illicit drug use. The war on drugs has been successful beyond belief for those who stand to profit from it.
David craig is there its look like him honestly oo7 agent i am amazed
Just tax it make everything legal stop making cartels rich. People going to get it either way.... why not get tested and safe product so all these people don't OD
I wish more people would support the police. They dedicate their lives and families to protect us. Remember that…
"Give up the source, I'd be giving up myself!" 😂 Even if not true for a local source despite him quite possibly being the true plug to his organization the level before a non-citizen Cartel membed (or citizen and either way not being snitched on), that was the most gangster answer you can give to take the time and not snitch ✊🏼💪🏼
Where is “Miami Bay” ? Your trying to say “ Biscayne Bay “ right ? 😂
And he has kids in the house?? Amazing!
he cant keep kids in the backyard
The dealer is wearing hospital socks he’s probably jus some crazy guy who jus got out the psych ward
I grew up in Miami …. lots a crime !
No you didn’t
Seventies plenty of action in the drug world crime up there Has not changed, different races 🇦🇺
Well yeah it's mostly not white so crime of course
"lots of crime" is relative ...fact is for a western democracy there's lots of crime no matter where you go in the US. Every US State has lots of crime and lots of criminals Black, White and Brown. For a country literally soaked in guns you'd think that wouldn't be the case. I contend that the more cheap guns there are the more crime you have. Republicans know this and that's why they push rampant gun proliferation because they know it leads to more crime and carnage, especially among the poor, which plays into their whole fake 'tough on crime' schtick.
19:30 that’s FIU, not UM
The Designers name was Gianni Versace, not “Ver-Sanjay” He wasn’t Price or Madonna
I'm guessing the weapons found weren't legally purchased or registered.
I've been evacuated in one of these when there was an armed domestic dispute next door the MiamiMetro area. Note there are many Miami's in Dade counties. These guys are pros. I feel safe here. Depends on area. 🐥
Where you at? I'm in West Kendall
@@LynxStarAuto - That occured in Pembroke Pines. Now IM in lower S. Beach, Miami. I've lived in 7 Miami areas Thinking of Boca Raton.
True❤❤
Wonder if this guy has concidered packing a lawyer with him, would be profitable for both of them.
21:10 real life nightcrawler
This is sketchy - an elite police unit who's operators do not wear any balaclavas to conceal their identity. Their faces are not even blurred out. Then, instead of using breching charges to make a quick and stunning entry they struggle with a crowbar and a battering ram.
And best of all, they disclose their HQ and their armory! Come on... By the way, I am not sure if such a building is safe for storing that amount of ammunition. And it does not seem reasonable to pick an ordinart building which was once a bank for an elite unit's hq...
I think this is training, at least most of video is!
In fact it is training exercise!
And their base would be heavily guarded with military weapons inside
Even I have common sense to also surround the back door!!
Why do you keep saying they are over equipped and over trained? Is there ever such a thing with what these guys do?
This is traffic to high level with later involved owner, detective, security and idiots
That cop looks like Brian kohberger
Swat team was not created cause of the riots it was created when sniper was shooting people off the tower
No bricks seen. Seems like overkill
No drug trafficking is that he said ? And a sniper rifle!! 😂😂😂
“University of Miami”….shows Florida International University lmao
This seems like a bunch of propaganda. Nickel and dime dealers. For what????? I want to see bigger fish going down. The dealers that own the yachts and the companies in Miami.
bookem Dano!
Bello look like he royed it out
100,000 rounds!! More like a military unit than a police station!
Hello always wonderfull to see law and order in action my favourite thankyou
😂that one dude sleeping against 20 heavily kitted out soldiers.
Everybody commenting that these guys are heroes are missing the fact that these are a military amongst us. They will just do their job for their paycheck. No Quarter. Guarantee they civilian disarmament
Some of the verbiage used by the narrator is weird….. almost like it was a poor English translation
You’re just not used to hearing the English language spoken properly,by an American.
LOL a sniper rifle really...
Nah what kind of radio is that
My man said 20 brave men, hilarious I'm surprised they got the right house🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
My thoughts exactly…”brave” lol…you mean the ones bullied in high school who act like the tough bullies now
“At this point they weren’t able to Neutralise the offender” 42:30 (ish) ..... it was a car theft not a serial killer fgs! Why would anyone want to neutralise a car thief, only in America huh.
maybe thats what the money hog tv producers want to see but for the normal person, knowing any victims are safe or headed to the hospital is what is Important, and its just fine to brake the law by driving in the opposite direction? He's camera, Not A Trained Police Officers or SWAT. Thank You All Police Officers, Always Stay Safe.
Did i just see an Atomic plant connected to the ocean in Florida?
Lawyer up and sue

Could someone tells me ,what sort of tatics is that the officers are using.Everyone trying to go through the front door, while no one covers the back door in case someone tries to escape,i think ill have to rename them with Security Without any training,S.w.A.T 😅😅😅
How did we end up seeing non-SWAT units like the Maritime Officers? Stay on task documentary😅
Rafael is breaking all kind traffic laws to catch action...he could potentially kill someone reckless driving..
He should be arrested for dangerous driving, driving while using a mobile, speeding and maybe obstruction of emergency workers.
@@domib2896 He'll get caught up eventually... The authorities will tire of him risking the lives of other citizens...
I really see how we are making a dent in the drugs being discovered, its just a different drug dealer in a different house
Holy cow some of the men are good looking.... muscle 💪💪
Correction, ice agents
Im waiting for the day when cops quit calling ALL DRUGS NARCOTICS, NOT ALL the DRUGS are narcotics. Its like calling all cars VOLKSWAGENS
the swat guy what’s sad about this job is one day u could possibly never go home again see ur family
1992
200 homosides I think is pretty safe compare to Puerto Rico where 200 is a monthly thing .
What stupid and unnecessary risks that photographer come reporter is taking by driving with his elbows whilst having a scanner receiver in each hand driving at 80mph, that's a accident waiting to happen to some innocent members of the public, absolutely disgusting
It didn't look like he had a good relationship with the police like he said, it looked like the police officers weren't to happy to see the photographer as they wasn't answering his questions and was giving off a very negative vibe towards him, which is understandable as they don't need any distraction whilst there working.
who the hell gives them the badge😂
Thats not the Miami police,it's the County police.
These guys get off on being some kind of military-type commando
the Miami ref raggaetoneros cookie cutter swat team got it.
That door was very flimsy. No reinforcement at all, considering he was ‘at the head’ of the drug trade.Looked like small fry,to me.
Training Exercises!!!
Good old days . Going to on On The Rocks. LUCAS. Or to Packys sports bar. . That sicko stayed at Normans who killed Versace. I Drank at the Sandbar too.
Its weird they didnt see anyone steal Dan Marinos car or chase Haitians in a Ferrari. Seems like it would happen everyday
Rafael should be arrested ! He doesn’t have the right to drive this way! Why is he not arrested yet ?you have video proof!!!
A documentary from 2017?
says so in the description yes
I bet you they wouldn't bust a grape today the way they're running wild
Always they have a man like homeless outside the gas station they put there for traffic some time is security but is involved and the police believe in them
What a joke. They walked right out the back door. Nice get.
Jail for Long
That last guy could have got a break but I guess the cops just did it for you guys on a I appreciate you raid cuz he was just a little low 🔑 dealer he literally don't got 💩
The bearcat is literally ready equipped for a full top gun turret to just be added 😳 🤔 I wonder what they have this ready to go for 🤔 guarantee it’s got to do with pop control plan
Looks like this video news guy is putting himself and others on the road in DANDER by all his scanners distractions! 😢
Neckbraze and fast watertransport? Any idea how hard a boat bounces on water?😂
Theres alot of nice land down there wow if some of them houses was cleaned up
I think we almost have people with values. Because this delincuentes for live well don t know how many life's they kill, when you see a person addicted you see the damage what they do for money, for a fancy lives, they family have everything money, house, jewelry a exchange the somebody life could be a man, a woman a child don t care so I m 100 💯 with police
GTA 6
I always thought miami was were the rich all live but in reality theres so many poor people liveing there way more then rich wow?
