I testify that the words of the Book of Mormon are true and all can receive the truths therein according to our faith in Christ.❤❤❤

I find it odd that when people hear/read the Book of Mormon they deny the words and go straight to "Mormonism is fake you believe x, y, and z". Im not saying everyone will agree and jump into the baptismal waters without finding a testimony. What I am trying to say is, it seems odd that no one seems capable of saying "hey! Thank you for sharing! I agree with what you read, but not your church. God bless!" They seem trained/conditioned to have contempt for everything that isnt their beliefs and must attack it.

Lemme just say that Eastern Orthodoxy is seriously the only accurate and preserved Church. Its 1st century not 19th century, kinda think logically here, would the Church which has direct links to the Apostles be more accurate or some random modern movement that came out of thin air be more accurate? I would suggest Mormons do their research and see for themselves.

It depends. One claims a prophetic mantle while the other does not. Don't you find it interesting that there has not been a single prophecy given in Catholicism/Eastern Orthodoxy since the death of the apostles? Then Joseph Smith shows up and provides hundreds of prophecies which prove to be fulfilled? It's difficult to detect a false prophet/teacher if they never provide even a single prophecy.

… but you believe in Celestial Exaltation… Christianity does not teach this.
Also, men are dressed all in white on thier funeral, believing that he will become a god and taking on many wives.. also not what Christianity teaches…
Also you believe that Jesus died for our sins in the garden of Gethsemane because of the verse that said Christ sweated great drops of blood…. Mormonism takes this literally and rejects the cross . Mormons also do not believe in the Holy Trinity… which is paramount in the Christian faith - so Mormonism denies the dirty of Jesus, and reject that Christ is God.
The Trinity is Father , Son and Holy Spirit… which are the 3 persons within ONE Godhead.
    This is what Christianity teaches.
And We are saved by His grace.
There are no good works we can do to gain salvation. It is by GRACE we are saved not works.
Christians believe Jesus suffered being beaten savagely, a crown of painful thorns placed on his head, made to carry Hos heavy cross… nailed to the cross and His side being pierced by a sword…..died ON THE CROSS for our salvation, not in the garden of Gethsemane. These are only a few reasons, I a Christian do not believe the Book of Mormon.

I meant “ the diety” of Christ - not dirty…… auto correction.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts brother! As a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and His restored church, I’d like to clarify a few things you mentioned:
We do not believe Christ died in the garden of Gethsemane. The garden, cross, and tomb are all vital to His atoning sacrifice. He felt the weight of our sins and pains in the garden, then experienced these same pains on the cross where He died for us. He then rose from the dead after three days.
We do believe Christ is God. Is he the same physical person as our Heavenly Father? No. Does he have all of the same rights, powers, and divinity as Heavenly Father? Yes. The Book of Mormon and Bible both teach that Christ and God are perfectly unified in mission and power, and that their greatest desire is our eternal happiness.
I know the Book of Mormon truly is the word of God. I know this simply because I’ve studied it throughout my life and have prayed earnestly to God for guidance and answers. He’s made it clear to me that Jesus is the Christ, Joseph Smith is a true prophet, and the Book of Mormon truly is His word. I’d invite you to take these same steps if you’re willing to find an answer for yourself. If not, I’d simply ask you to respect what we believe and not belittle church members because they don’t believe in the same manner you do.
I hope you read this in good faith, and I hope you have a great rest of your day! God bless!

The Book of Mormon says that it is by the grace of Jesus Christ that all mankind will be saved. We also believe that the atonement started in Gethsemane and ended on the Cross. Then he rose again on the third day. We literally believe in the same atonement. Everything you said Jesus went through, we believe he went through. I’m grateful for the Bible to teach me of how great Jesus Christ’s love for us is. I’m also grateful for the Book of Mormon which records more of Jesus Christ and his teachings. It breaks my heart that people don’t believe that Jesus suffered mightily for their sins, bled from ever pore, carried his own cross, had a crown of thorns placed on his head, and died and rose again on the third day. It’s all true. Why would his followers suffer and die if it weren’t true.
Last comment regarding the cross. It was a sign of Roman persecution and torture. It was upon the cross that he died for our sins. However, we know how the story ends. Jesus Christ broke the bands of death and because of his grace we can love again. Surely the empty tomb is greater than the cross. Without the empty tomb, the cross would still be a sign of persecution and torture.
      Have a blessed day! ❤

@@ziggyben13auto correction can be problematic at times. It helps out when it can but sometimes is just a hassle too
