How to Make Blessed Money and Holy Wealth

  • It’s talked about a lot - we want to make sure that our money is blessed, and our wealth is holy, but what does that mean and how do you attain it? What do our sages mean when they talk about receiving holy money and holy wealth? They obviously don’t just mean being rich and Jewish, because there are people ho are very wealthy, and can’t touch their money, either for legal reasons, or simply for fear of losing some of what they earned. That is not the kind of wealth that we want. We want holy wealth, holy money that comes with peace of mind and is free from worry, and brings more opportunities for holiness and real joy into our lives. Blessed money is money that you are able to use freely for you and your family and your friends, without worrying about what’s gonna be tomorrow or in ten years. The sages weren’t talking about gold and diamonds sitting in a vault, they wanted us to feel that our money is blessed, and be free and happy to use it without worry for whatever we want and need. Another sign of wealth is that you are able to truly rejoice at the success and achievements of your friend. that you don’t feel threatened by your friends success. Everyone needs to know that they are doing their own job perfectly, and are receiving from God all the tools necessary to complete that job, and their peers and friends receiving the tools that they need to complete their own respective job does not detract from their own wealth and success at all. We all need to find who we are, find our purpose, find our soul, and go with that, and be happy for others when they find theirs.

Thank you! I love the stories. They are more comforting learning for me and some days I feel good enough that the other learning is right for me, but today I needed the comfort. Blessings on all. Kim

Thank you Rav Dror for your teachings, I have always thought why am I poor? I am a woman and alone. I have always given and never asked Hashem, blessed is He, for riches, and tell Him that all the time. But I do not want to live my life out of charity, and yet it seems like there is no other way. I have worked all my life since I was sixteen, today I am 70. I don't have a great bank account. I live on SS to SS every month, but lack nothing. I believe that I am happy with what I have, but sometimes I wish I had more to give to those who don't have anything to survive on in this world. There are children all over the world who are starving, abandoned by their parents, and living on the streets. These children are abused by society, and many, I have seen on You Tube documentaries, are smoking or doing drugs to forget the pain of their situation. I wish I could help out, but there is nothing I can do but to pray, and ask you to pray for those children, of different races all over the world who are dying every day from drug overdose, abuses and hunger. Can anyone who reads and listen to your great teachings help those children? It would be a good thing to hear or read that these commentators are doing that. Those who can afford to help out, but do not do anything to rescue them. Thank you for your teachings, and may Hashem, blessed is He, have mercy on ALL humanity. The world is coming to and end. The homeless children around the world are not learning anything good, no Torah, not about the Creator, these children are just trying to survive alone, and abandoned, rejected by society and their parents. Please have mercy on the children. Thank you
