Very interesting, what was the custom sabre being used here?

Its a black fencer 1796 inf. But with shorter handle. But stiffer, weight a bit forward and 2 cm more curve. Its after a historical original I have. Love it so far. Had to remake the grip. Bone broke so made new from moose antler.
