This is a master class in vocal technique. There were questions back in the 80's if she was still the queen of soul, with Chaka, Tina, Whitney doing all their great stuff. But, at least for me, Aretha still stood above them all. She's simply amazing here. The closer you listen, the more you appreciate her.
