    Their attention to detail is unreal! I have both versions of the 110, these are great! Thanks Randy for sharing this with us!

    Every megabass lure I’ve used has been great besides the islides when in comparison to other baits in their price range

    I just wish Megabass sold their hat patches. I bought the "Psychic Force" America/Japanese hat in black, but I have a big head and the hat doesn't fit. I would love to put that patch on a large black hat because it looks so cool.

    Megabass quality is outstanding. Pricey but great baits.

      You get what you pay for. If you don't lose them, they last way longer than their competitors. Saving you money in the long run.

    Im really starting to like the Megabass Sleeper Gill...The S Crank, i agree is probably the best squarebill I've used...i plan on trying the big Megabass topwater with the walking blades..can't remember the name..looks pretty cool crawling on top!

      @roy...Save yourself some tournament heartache and swap out the hooks with #6 widegap Gamakatsu. Their outside barb hooks are garbage. They straighten out easily and break even easier.

    I only buy megabass crank baits now. I still like other brands and have them in my box. I'll even use them when I am worried about snags. However, Megabass is all I use when I'm not worried about snags. They catch more fish, the quality is wildly superior. I fish a few days a week and still have Megabass crank baits from 3 years ago.

    Love my lures! I have a 110, a 110 jr., and 4 different sized S-cranks from your link. I haven't gotten into the softbaits yet.

    Ive used all 3 of these baits and my favorite is the 110. Its always tied on and Ive caught a lot of fish on it. Speaking of the 110, Ive heard this is working really well on TRL in the Koncura color. Wondering if you have any comment on that.

    The only MegaBass I can bring myself to buy are the Dark Sleeper and the Sleeper Gil. They are reasonably priced and they work. As for their crank baits, I cannot spend 3 times as much for a crankbait that doesn’t catch more fish than other brands. I will put 6th Sense paint jobs up against MegaBass any day. Their crank baits are just as good and have excellent quality. I understand Randy is sponsored by MB so of course he pushes their products. There is nothing wrong with that. I wish Randy would use some of his 32 years with MB to get them to lower their prices. I especially want to buy a MB rod, but they are simply way out of my price range. 😢

    • @513EM1
      @513EM1 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      You’re missing out unfortunately. I used to be a big clearance lure guy. I’ve fished all the brands over the years and 6th sense is also one of my favorites. I can tell you right now you’ll catch more fish using Megabass stuff, jerk baits especially. The quality and action alone is just incredible. No sponsorship here just another regular fisherman’s opinion. Give em a shot you won’t regret it. Also if you order them from Japan, the value of yen is down so you get them much cheaper. Usually half the price vs here in the U.S….
      Ps. You should save up for a Levante series rod. They are $199 and I promise you it’ll be the only rod you ever want to use ever again. You can feel when a fish looks at your damn lure it seems like lol. The sensitivity is something you won’t know until you feel it for yourself. Not to mention the craftsmanship and components on them are second to none. Worth every dollar imo. Cheers🍻

      I agree also. The two of the three baits Randy mentioned are not my favorites. I like the Z-3 crank, the small S-crank and the smaller megabass jerk baits. My lakes just don’t have the big quality bass that will eat the larger baits. Just buy a couple of your favorite style of baits in a couple colors. Don’t go crazy chasing all the different colors. The quality of Megabass lures is what you’re buying. The hooks and paint schemes. I like using Megabass products because no one else on my lake is using these lures and I know the bass are seeing something new. Also, the hooks on these smaller baits are extremely sharp and very fine wire. The hooks can get bent and broken when using pliers to remove from fishes mouth and bass boat deck carpet. I recommend having a pack of spare treble hooks to replace if needed. Also, watch your fingers. I pulled a hook out of one my fingers last week!
      If you are getting started with BFS fishing, you will really like the Megabass selection of BFS lures.

      @@af4od02 BFS line absolutely smashes them!!! Caught more on the X-nanahan than any other mb lure I have combined. Baby pop X is sweet too when they’re hitting topwater. They just can’t resist that tiny little thing LOL. Would love to see them make a lil 1/8oz buzzbait…

    • @robertdtimmerman
      @robertdtimmerman 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@af4od02….. not gonna go down the BFS hole. I am not a fan of drag peeling or ultra light line fishing. Randy says to use 8 lbs test on a jerkbait. I can’t. I will snap the line on the hook set. Nothing I hate more than reeling a fish in snd getting it 2 feet from me and my 8 lb test snaps. I think BFS is popular among those fisherman who fish a lot and just want a longer fight. That’s just not to my liking. I have MedLight action spinning rods, but I have 12 and 15 lb test on them. Would love to get some MB gear, but it’s just too expensive and the cost isn’t borne out in fish catches.

      @@robertdtimmermanthat’s your problem right there you to heavy of line you not getting the full or proper action on your baits just like spending money on good baits then putting spletrings and hooks on them that are to heavy and killing the bait. You are wasting money and most of all your time and energy just because you want to be doing it one way
