Following along! Looking forward to seeing how your new home turns out 😁 Just a tip from a fellow former TH-camr, if you're recording the voiceover using your computer's mic I'd suggest trying your phone's mic instead. The audio quality is quite bad and it will probably be a deterrent for getting new subscribers to join your channel. It's a bit difficult to make out what's being said. There are free voice recording apps that you can download and try out if you don't want to invest in a proper mic just yet. Just transfer the file recording to your PC for video editing once you're done.
@@franklinacosta4342 Thanks for the comment. The voiceovers were done with Sony earbud mic used for work just as an easy and quick thing to do within Clipchamp. Wanted to see without too much hassle what the uptake and reactions from family and friends were before going into more effort. We subtitled (hardcoded CC) as well just to make sure people could follow just in case it was a bit hit or miss. External mic and separate recordings will probably applied in the fourth video as we're waiting for our new laptops plus probably a new external mic that will make both gaming and editing a bit easier. 🙏
there seem to be more stories people have and are moving to portugal then spain or maybe some dont make videos . where we are we get winter and if we moved it would be to a country or in a part of a country where it is warm and hot all year . in the hills anywhere it gets cold .
Portugal is a very diverse country in terms of climate and geography. Where we are, we indeed still have winter, but it is shorter. It then does cool off to freezing in the nights, but then as soon as the sun is coming out, it has a lot more power and the afternoons even in January are still wonderful to be outside. That is something that we do still enjoy, to have some sense of seasons, and thinking ahead for years to come if the heat migrates further north, and with that the (potential of) extended draught. Being at the edge of the mountains we'll surely have water and protection from being completely running dry at the height of summer, which is good for our goals of wanting to grow our own fruit and veg as well! But if you find a place that fits you in Alentejo, for example, you'll have a lot more warmth throughout the year!
Gaby en Rene, jullie hebben er twee abonnees bij. Wij, Paul en Irene feliciteren jullie met deze fijne plek. We gaan jullie volgen!
Dank jullie wel!
Congrats on the new place!
