- I’ve made a few videos about the strongest demigods in Percy Jackson, and there always seem to be disagreements between two demigods in particular. Both children of the Big 3, you could say these are the Big 2 in terms of demigods, so in this video, let's find out once and for all whether Percy Jackson, or Nico di Angelo can take the title as the strongest demigod.

Plus, Most fans bring up Nico's feats in Tartarus, but that is obvious, MAN! that is where he is powerful, Just like Percy in Sea

Not really as whilst Tartarus is in the underworld it’s not under hades control being a son of hades helps him in some ways but is a detriment in others taturus doesn’t increase his powers or heal him he is unable to control the dead like he would usually Percy had more of a boost in a puddle than Nico does in Tartarus
No. Nico is stronger in the underworld cause that is his dads domain. Yes he has better passive skills in Tartaros than an average demigod (aka he has a better chance of surviveing) but Tartaros isnt Hadeses domain. Its Tartaroses. If Nico would be a child of Tartaros, Nyx or anyone who lives in Tartaros then yes. He would get better active skills there.
Tartarus doesn't make him stronger like it does for Percy ,
Nico, I would say, does have potential and would win against Percy at certain aspects.
But Percy has a larger variety of powers, better combat skills, and overall, he's seen got more feats.
But Nico's powers are more DANGEROUS compared to Percy's. So he will be more of a heavy hitter, but Percy, in most fights, will be able to just overwhelm Nico with his larger scale of powers and battle skills.

Him pulling water out of demigod's and him possibly controlling Blood makes him INDEED the most dangerous one. Are we forgetting how he erupted a damn Volcano awakening Typhoon? 😒

Love the video but if we are looking at who is more powerful you could look at truly who would win the fight, age does matter but Percy could still do some of his accomplishments when he was younger
If i'm being honest, especially after Sun and the Star, Nico is TERRIFYINGLY powerful. But percy? The man can bloodbend.

If Percy and Nico were both bloodlusted it can go either way. Percy bloodbends Nico till he dies or Nico just turns him into a ghost. If not then Percy would win in a normal battle and he has much more feats than Nico does.
Nico can't turn some one in to Ghost without dying himself, Percy just controlled Blood of tartarus in his weak form

While Jason was gone Reyna led the twelfth legion all by herself and is also mentally strong, she was literally kidnapped by Blackbeard and went on to become someone great. Just what I think personally.

Do a demigod tournament or just a regular verses video like Jason grace vs Nico di. Angelo or Percy vs Jason grace ! Only if you enjoy it of course.
They are very powerful, yes but some of nicos powers were not mentioned. He can effect the people around him by sharing his pain and emotions like he did in blod of olympus.And he can also turn people into skeletons, like he did in blood of olympus and the tower of nero. You also have to consider the lack of training and experience he was able to have, he was grieving his dead sister, he was manipulated by minos, neglected by hades, hated and distrusted by percy. Then in heros of olympus he finds percy agian. He is pretty good at sword fighting especially for someone who barely trained. And honestly, he has been through alot. At least percy has a mother, nico has no one but hades. Persephone hates nico as well so that doesnt help. And nico was still trying to come to terms with himself since he is gay, and from italy and born in the 1920s so yea. Percy has people he can trust, who does nico have? No one. He went through tartarus BY HIMSELF, percy was older AND had someone else, he also was healthy. Percy was fine with going to tartarus, nico wasnt. Nico met Nyx, will didnt. Nico dealt witn TWO primidorial gods, percy met one. Nico cared about bob, percy didnt. Nico has gone through a lot and still seems to be able to do things very well. I think that is very impressive. If there is something i missed please do say something.
I agree with you. When I was watching this video it felt like he was missing some of Nico’s strengths. With these in mind I think Nico is the best
In trials of apollo (TOA), Apollo comments on how he is amazed that pipers dad is still sane, even though he was captured by a giant. ONLY ONE. And he was given a memory wipe drink or smt. And he is still kinda depressed and stuff. Ares had gotten kidnapped as well and even HE isn't the same. NICO WENT THROUGH TARTARUS, SAW NYX, GOT KIDNAPPED BY TWO GIANTS, GOT STUCK IN A JAR, DIDNT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING BUT POMEGRANATE SEEDS, AND USED AS BAIT. HE DIDNT GET ANY KIND OF THING TO HELP HIM FORGET IT. THEN HE GOT THROWN INTO A FREAKING WAR!!!!! HE HAS BEEN IN TWO WARS PERCY HAD ONLY BEEN IN ONE. He went through all that trauma yet still somehow fought in the war, barely allowed to grieve!!!
NICO LITTERALY TURNED SOMEONE INTO A SKELETON RIGHT AFTER SHADOW TRAVELLING! Nico won't hesitate to use his powers. Percy does though. If percy can't make the decision how would he be able to stop the monster?

I personally think that if Nico is able to pull of death touch. Or is in the underworld he wins. And if it’s on land not by a beach or a river just neutral area if Nico is able to summon or possibly create it’s a possibility because we’ve never seen him do this but, create or summon enough skeletons and ghost to overwhelm Percy if Nico is able to do Death Touch then or get a good stab on him with his sword(Nico’s sword is very dangerous for demigods because one slice can absorbing the essence/soul of demigods titans and gods and monsters . Meaning Percy if stabbed once could die this is due to Nico sword being made of Stygian Iron only children of hades can pick up/ wield it meaning Percy can’t steal is weapon meaning one hit from Nico is extremely deadly so On neutral ground I’ll give Percy the benefit of the doubt and give him ON NEUTRAL GROUND PERCY FANS 6/10 against Nico. In the underworld I give Nico 10/10 because it’s his natural domain just like Percy would win 10/10 with ocean beside him so will Nico in the underworld with no water . I Swear if someone says Percy can “ Blood bend” Well Nico can bone bend in the underworld then and snap his neck . By the ocean it’s Percy’s win 9/10 because there’s still a possibly of death touch/ death stare and neutral ground by a river I give it to Percy 7/10 so Bonus: Tartarus I give it to Nico because it’s close to his domain he has survived Tartarus twice while seeing the actual form both times and Percy so it once and freaked out and if Percy can blood bend then why can’t Nico bone bend if he’s in his domain and totally better at his sanity then Percy. So in Tartarus I give it to Nico 8/10 so in conclusion Percy wins in most scenarios .

By the way Percy never controlled blood he only controlled poison and if you assume Percy can control blood because of liquid control I can assume Nico can control bones because of skeleton control meaning he can instally snap Percy’s neck!

Just 3 pomegranate seeds! 3! And second time with his boyfriend ! He was weakened from this and shadow traveling the big statue and two demigods across the whole world 🌍. You think he was healthy and in good shape . Heck no!!! Imagine him in good shape against Percy ! With no endurance drawbacks ! Percy would get whooped! I’m not sure why this is even a debate ? Nico himself states that Percy is the strongest demigod there is ever. He blood bends the goddes of poison? Thats literally something no other being has shown not even his father put another deity in their place like that. Plus idk if it’s hazel or whose states they think Percy is a god when they meet him. How many titans and gods has he beat ? And not just like barely been I mean he’s manhandled most of them. At Nico’s age Percy did way more tbh. It’s also the fact that Percy’s powers are way more area affecting then Nico’s. The very earth and the very sea. Two of the world’s natures at his finger tips. Let’s not forget he can control ice through water and lighting. And I do believe one Percy could use lava. And also just subcreate like mud and whatever. Nico while strong his abilities are not large area affecting. Let’s also not forget Percy beat Nico’s father… so in what world can Nico even compare ? As they age more he’s just gonna get more power and refine his techniques.
