Oh, boy, I remember that too. She's way more organized than I was with my first baby. Any discomfort was of short duration, except for nursing. If I was even a little bit late, the soreness kicked in. Thank goodness for big cabbage leaves in my bra! I heard an interview with Michelle Obama who was referring to the same thing. I don't know how it works, but I'm sure glad it does ☆☆☆

My hubby worked so i had to cook, clean etc. With each of my 5 babies. So hard on your own i had my last 4 10 to 11 months apart. Love from Indiana xoxo
A great setup your husband is sweet to think of things to make it easier for you exspically after being sore I don't have kids right now but I did have my gallbladder removed I've never had surgery before and the pain was horrible also being in a 2 story house wasn't so great so just take your time to heal it's good to have the help
That is awesome you are able to get the help from family. Love the setup of your bedroom and bathroom. Helps a lot when you are just in your bedroom and able to function in one room.

Chica, I highly recommend you put those cooling nipple pads in the fridge as well! Those REALLY come in handy if you ever get mastitis (fingers crossed that you don't)! Also, I've used the MyBreastFriend pillow with both of my babies and LOVE it; highly recommend!!! 🙂

As a mom of 3 sons, the best thing you've got, and you've got great things, is that refrigerator upstairs! When your bedroom is on a second floor, both parents need it! We learned with our first son how dangerous the stairs can be to the husband. He was carrying our baby when he went downstairs to get a water. He slipped and fell. Both were badly injured, but are fine now. So stock that refrigerator up with hubby's gatorade too! At some point the help reduces. When you, or you and hubby are doing this together, every convenience is necessary to keep it all running as smoothly as you've got it right now. Plus at some point you may want to pump any extra milk and having a frig to put it in right there is great. Oh and if you get painfully engorged using a cabbage leaf or two between skin and breast pad for a day reduces the engorgement. (Crazy I know.) So you can keep some cabbage leaves in the refrigerator too. I only needed this a day with each son around week 2. At 6 months, I wished I could make that extra milk so maybe pump instead to relieve pressure and freeze what you can when you make surplus. I'm so glad you shared this video with others! Super helpful!

Hii thanks for this video… I’m 24 weeks pregnant with my first baby! So I’m excited to shop however I don’t have much space so I am going to go the minimalist route. The bassinet is cute there are too many to choose from but I like your play-pen and bassinet combo. Very good idea. Thanks for sharing!

I haven’t seen anyone do a postpartum set up and this helped alleviate some anxiety I’ve been having about it❤️❤️ You should do a video (whenever you have time time of course) of what you actually needed at the hospital and what you actually used from your hospital bag! Currently 32 weeks and I’ve seen so many videos but everyone says so many different things 😩
Wow this video was so eye opening to me. I have a 7 year old son and I remember my doctor telling me how lucky I was but I didnt realize. I never had to use any of this stuff. I had a vaginal birth. No pain. No bleeding after. I never had to use pads or anything like that. So crazy how everyone is different.
My Brest Friend Pillow and Haakaa are both great things to invest in. The Haakaa is perfect to replace breast pads. You can save all the letdown from the other side while nursing. If you don't use what you save in bottles for baby, you can actually donate it to local hospitals for babies in NICU that are unable to breastfeed.
Preparing and adding stuff to baby registry. Hopefully my husband’s side of family who is super rich will get us expensive stuff like Halo bassinet or Docatock etc.. Fingers crossed 🤞… Anyway thank you for the video. You are very blessed to have such a big house and all brand new thing:)
