Felt still hasn’t put the geometry chart up for the new Carbon Breed- it’s been awhile since release, it’s kind of irritating they haven’t updated it yet….
I'm convinced KTM (Felt owner) are trolling. They released this bike just over a year ago and it's still not available to buy. All the dealers I asked said they didn't think they'd have stock this year - calendar year that is, not model. Also the cabling at the front end is nearly as bad as the Exploro.
IIRC, I saw pics of that (IMHO hideous) yellow colour combo ages ago; what's with the non-matching forks?!? Are we sure this is actually a new bike? I don't recall hearing about the seatpost sleeve damper thingy, but the rest seems vaguely familiar from last year sometime.
@@GravelCyclist No, they were launched just over a year ago. There was a big press event with all the media invited to Spain to ride it. Availability was meant to be late summer / early autumn '22. It's looking more like summer '24 though.
Whoever wrote Felt's blurb is innumerate. 700c and 29" are the same except for labelling, as are 50mm and 2.0" (effectively). They also say 650b tyres can be wider, but that 50mm is max for both that and 700c/29"; this is a contradiction. Remedial education is needed, for both numeracy and comprehension. Sigh. And there's no more info at their site, only a signup for spam/marketing.
the color looks really cool. the frame design however feels a bit outdated. terrible cable routing for frame bags. No internal storage. It will be difficult for felt to compete against the competition with the current range of bikes.
Next years big trend at Sea Otter, the ‘All Road” that will come with two sets of wheels right from the manufacturer.
Could be a definite; I think we'll see even more integrated cockpits.
Tasty looking bikes

There was zero information at the booth, and nobody on-site knew a whole lot about the bike :(
@@GravelCyclist can't wait for your no bs ride review of this bike. In neon yellow to go with the gravel cyclist kit no doubt 😊

Will it be ever available to buy?
I don't know when, sorry.

Felt wasn't at Sea Otter last year, so I have to assume these are new bikes. Unfortunately, staff at the booth didn't have a lot of intel.

@@pmcmpc Clearly I got dissed, they sent me zero information or an invite. Oh well. But, I hope everyone enjoys seeing what may be released later?

Indeed, there wasn't much intel at the booth. As you saw, I did my best to go over the bike sans any real information.

I skipped Sea Otter this year, no idea if Felt have updated their bikes since my 2023 video.
