I also love “great-grandparent” names. Here are a few from our list: Vaughan, Clara/Claire, Evelyn, Emory, Magnolia, and Emmeline. My great grandmother’s name was Ruby Olive. She hated it!… I like it. Especially, Olive! Olivia and Oliver are common BUT Olive. Simple and non-gendered. Choosing names is such a personal process. I’m sure you both put a ton of thought and care into naming your little bundles of joy. Congratulations!
Allie saying "people are gonna feel bad if their names are these" after Sam saying how Allie hated a name was just soooo canadian and cute I couldn't hold a little laugh hahaha . And I was sooo in sync with Allie with the girl names, except with Flora, wich I think is very lovely and sounds better in Brazil. I'd love to name my daughter Flora if it's popularity hadn't grown so much. Also, I totally relate with the fact that If I know anyone with a name, I will remember the person and my baby should have another name. I'm very picky as well, I know haha . I loved the video and I totally respect the fact you want to respect the babies privacy, but I'm the kind of person who seeks for closure in everything I can (don't worry, I go to therapy every week) and knowing that we'll not know their name gives me chills a little hahahahah Specially because here in Brazil I don't know any content creators that choose this path with their kids. . . I didn't understand it the way that they want to keep their names secret for privacy reasons. What I got is that they won't tell anyone the names until the babies are already born so that nobody can prejudge them and discuss their choice with them.

Totally understandable about Allie not feeling well to film. Twin Mom here, and a twin pregnancy is alot harder than a singleton. Y'all are my favorite TH-cam couple. The love between y'all is goals!
If I had to guess some options for your twins' names, I'd guess maybe you'll give them names that are a twist on Fred and George Weasley from the Harry Potter series (since Sam loves the series so much): So for George maybe you'd go with a name like Georgia, Georgina, Georgie, Georgette, Georgiana, Geoffrey And for Fred, maybe you'd go with a name like Frank, Frankie, Francine, Frasier, Freya
I wanted Casper for mine but people would make fun of them and call him Casper the friendly ghost. Poppy isn't good considering people would call her poppy seed hahaha and clementine are orange lol kids would say let me eat you clementine!
I like my name Denise Kathryn. U don't hear that name much these days. Alexander is a cool name with nick name Alex that's what I would have named my son if I didn't lose him. Do u know the genders already? Good luck with them.
Millie is short for Mildred I believe, my great grandmother’s name was Mildred and everyone called her Millie. Some names that I like are Autumn, Kingsley, Kingston, Toby, and Olive. I’m so happy for you both! ❤️
So interesting with the name Eleanor. I'm British and I noticed people say 'Elle-a-na' here and 'Ella-nore' in the US. It's interesting to hear what pronunciation is used more in Canada.
SO TRUE!! I am currently 21 weeks 2 days and we decided on not telling anyone the babes name and it drives everyone crazy! Like, hello, we don't want your opinion ruining the love we have for OUR baby's name!! Totally get it/agree!
My favorite name from what was said is Vivian, but some of my other favorite names are Hawthorne (the plant), Rosalee (beautiful rose), and Aelinn (handsome or beautiful)
Totally agree it’s you’re choice and I know I’ll love them, and enjoyed this video a lot and just love a lot of these names. Love you both so much and getting very excited about your pregnancy and looking toward the future
I didn't tell anyone our babies names until after all three of them were born. I also like grandparent names. I named my oldest Charlotte 16 years ago and then there was a major boom. I LOVE Penelope/Eloise/Matilda (and Tilly is the nickname for that one), but my husband always said a hard no.
I’m pregnant and waiting to learn gender. You have so many similar ideas! My wife and I have 2 boy and 2 girl names picked out. Theodore Edwin, Sebastian Eugene, Charlotte Katherine(Cricket as nickname), and Eloise Marjorie. All of our middle names are family names.
If we ever have a girl, her name will be Genevieve Sabine after my great grandma ❤️ Also love the names Franklin, Hendrix, Maeve, Finnegan, and Delilah! We’re a huge fan of “older” names:)
So excited for you guys! Goldie Valentina or Olive Aurora Piper Madeline or A and S names are so cute for middle spots too! And if G & F names are the plan after Fred and George then Goldie and Frankie are awesomeeeee
Love the names mentioned in the video. It is problematic though to name a child the same name as a family member or a pet. Btw. Elanor is pronounce exactly the way Sam said. When we thought about a name for our child, we were searching for international names that can be used almost everywhere around the world. We named our son Daniel Jakob, the middle name after my grandfather. Names like Richard, Philip, Anna (or Anne), Danielle or Stefanie (Steph) were also an option.
Fun fact: I was almost an elanor, it’s a family name and my nickname would have been Ellie, but my name turned out to be Theron. It’s Greek for hunter and a family name and I honestly love my name ❤️, it’s pronounced like sharon or Aaron but with a “th”. My moms name is Laurel which I also think is really pretty :)
Adding to my own comment: my nickname for my name Theron happens to be Ronnie, and my best friend is a Vivian, I call her “vivi” but her friends where she lives call her viv
Sam is like me and Allie like my wife. Whenever we've looked at names I had so many I loved and she had like three and had issues with various names just because she knew someone at some point with the name 😂😂
Sam! I love almost all the girl names you loved! A lot were on my list as well. I’m pretty sure the nickname for Matilda is Tilly haha Picking names is so much pressure haha!
You should definitely watch/read Matilda, Sam; Roald Dahl is a genius writer & the movie adaptation of Matilda is amazing & hilarious. Roald Dahl's "The Witches is also being made into/a=already a movie. His "The BFG" (Big Friendly Giant) was also an amazing, hilarious book & the movie adaptation a few years back was also pretty funny too. In any case, Allie you should sit down with Sam & read &/or watch Matilda with Sam- may be read &/or watch The BFG with Sam too
I love your style of baby names! Here's some pairs I like that I think fit the style: Seth and Agatha August (Auggie) and Margaret (Maggie) Rupy and Charity (Cherry)
They are a lot of french name and i'm french 😁 I really like Flora, Charlotte, Kai, Archie and I think Millie is sooo cuuute like OMG. Beau in french means beautiful ! But it's cute 🥰 I also love Camila, James, and Heather Love ❤️
Our family has Welsh backgrounds so my brother chose Celtic names for his children. The youngest boy loves his nane especially because it has no vowels in it. One word of advice, watch the initials, I know a couple of people who have embarrassing or awkward initials. For example Mark Richard for a boy means they sign their name Mr. (Mister). I know someone with this and he says people think he is being stand-offish by not giving his first name.
My favorite name now and for several years now is Brielle. I think it's so elegant and beautiful, it's one I rarely hear, and could have the nickname Bree/Brie or Elle. As for combinations maybe Bridgette and Brielle, Blair and Brielle, Hope and Faith, Dylan and Dakota, or Randi and Raelee.
I love elodie! my daughter we named Sydnee and my sons name is Layton which could be Leighton for girl. Adelaide is cute too for a boy I used to like Leeland and now I wouldn't use it. I kinda grew out of liking it. I'm sure your twins have beautiful names!
For two girls: Juniper & Ivory, Shea & Brynn, Oakley & Sage. Two boys: Noah & August, Sutter & Cohen. Boy and girl: Emmett (also could be used as a girl's name though) & Capri, Ava & Gryffin, Nina & Huxley. I absolutely love the Beau and Kai combination!
So funny since my mom in law was Eleanor and yes I say it the same El.ea.nor I love the name Pepper it's adorable 🥰 and it's definitely Maddie not Millie 😂😂

Also I think Hailey and Bailey is cute for either girl/boy or girl/girl I think Sebastian is cute I also think Oz is cute I don’t know why. And Gage and Page for a boy/girl combo. I love Oscar. My last thought is Bo is really cute and Bo Woodward was an Olympic gold medal swimmer. Also a personal friend. Anyways that’s all my thoughts. Great video girls!

Ahh that makes sense! I might have been thinking Millicent... WHOOPS
My great grandmother's name was Matilda and they called her Tilly!
@@AllieandSam I think Milly is most commonly a nickname for Mildred! That was my grandmother’s name and she was Mil/Milly.
