- We're getting ready for our little twins!!
The nursery renovations are done and we're starting to set up things like the crib!!
Allie's family is here for the month to help and we're putting them to work making us freezer meals for when the babies are here and helping with lawn work (THANKS TONI AND DAN!)

I have to say, Sam unpacking the hospital bag.. I watched, looking at the cute soothies and saw Allie beating her laptop.. I literally rewinded 3 times, 2 times to see Allie beating the laptop and laughed and 1 time to see the bag content. Her face was priceless 🤣
Setting up the nursery made me emotional, because a person can see it's making it all more real with every month, milestone and trimester you reach and your anticipation, worries and excitement is pouring into all of our cups! Thank you for including us in your everyday life 💛💛💛
idk seeing her beat the shish out of the laptop as a first time viewer was kind of meh
Freezer meal ideas:
breakfast: waffles, pancakes, muffins, smoothie bags, breakfast burritos or egg sandwiches
Lunch: soups (squash, Veggie “chicken”noodle, tomato bisque), burritos, taco fillings
Dinner: curry, fried rice, pasta bakes, pizza, enchiladas, black bean or nut burgers
💕love seeing you guys prep for your babies. I have one due in December and love hearing what others are doing to get ready
If no one has mentioned it, you should raise the crib mattress higher while they're tiny. It makes picking them up so much easier and easier on your back. I am so excited to meet them !!
Chili is my go-to freezer meal! You can make it in bulk and it keeps really well. I recommend 3 bean chili for the protein. Good luck ladies!
The nursery is really coming along, great job!
I’ve had a preemie (labor at 28w- stopped and couldn’t stop &30w- 30day in NICU) and I say pack your bag for preemie event and if that never happens you can adjust the packing for term labor.
Ps- the baby not moving as soon as I want to show someone else is typical.
I gave birth to twins at 34 weeks. She weighed 4 pounds 5 ounces, He weighed 6 pounds 3 ounces Im sorry I don't know kilograms... anyways my point is buy premie clothes for the outfits!! And lots of diapers in sizes new born & size 1 in different brands so you know what fits best & what goes well w/their soft skin!! Luvs smell so good! So many options! U 2 look so beautiful! I love the jumper/overall Allie that color is perfect on your skin!!

When you pack your hospital bag and probably do this soonish take premature, tiny baby and newborn clothes and yes I bought all my children (5) special going home clothes. Also maybe buy a small gift for the furbabies from the twins so they don’t feel left out. So excited to follow on this special journey so thank you for sharing ❤️

Ok here are some great veggie meals to freeze! (I’m also vegetarian)
* veggie spaghetti sauces with zucchini, carrots and spinach in them
*lentils or black beans and brown rice bowls
* smoothies already made but frozen in individual bags to where you just open up the bag and put them in a blender and blend them up w almond or oat milk
*veggie soup (so easy to make and freeze)
*fresh veggies freeze well
* quinoa in separate baggies freezes really well
* veggie burgers 🍔
* spaghetti squash
Also, I would hold off on getting the coming home outfit until your further along. Just bc you won’t know what size to get them. But pack blankets, pacis, your stuff
And… as far as taking your breast pump, when I worked in post Partum in the hospital we provided pumps for the mommas to use. You should check w the hospital to see if they let you use theirs while you guys are in the hospital and IF the twins are in NICU then the NICU will most likely provide one for you to use also!
I believe both of you will be wonderful mom's, everything will be fine. Allie is glowing like a star.
Chicken marsala is a great freezer meal, as is chili, stromboli filling such as sausage/peppers, mushrooms.onions/peppers- buy pillsbury refrigerator pizza dough for the stromboli themselves- just fill and bake. Hearty soups and stews are great frozen.
Meal services are good too. Read the reviews. Meal kits are good but they have prep and cook times to consider.
When you put your hand of her tummy I believe they feel comforted.❤️❤️
Chili, soup, pasta, pre cooked rice, stir fry, you can pre cut a lot of veg and freeze, i always have cauliflower rice in the freezer .... a vacuum sealer works great
Get there going home outfits in newborn and premie!!! And then you can take back the size or return the size thats to big or small, or keep it if its to big to use in future. I've heard a few mums doing this and I thought it was so clever
With my daughter (singleton pregnancy) I started packing my hospital bag at around 35weeks, and made a list of last minute items I would need to remember to pack.
I also got carseat base installed in our car so it was ready to go and kept the bucket seat itself inside near the door so we could grab it on the way out the door when we had to drive to hospital.
So excited for you both!! I’m a triplet, and my brothers and I were born two months early. We are all okay. I was underweight, but it was bc my and my brother’s placentas were fused. But after 30 days in the incubator, I got to go home! I’m surprised my brother turned out okay since I was apparently kicking him in the head on every ultrasound 😂
Honestly you never feel 100% ready that feeling goes away when they come home.
So I’m the grandma of twin girls born at the end of 2020… we got some fabulous stuff on Facebook marketplace… we got the twin halo bassinet and it was well worth it…they have proven babies who sleep in same room as parents have less chance of SIDS…anyway they kept them in their room until the could roll over from back to tummy….we got a regular swing and a mamaroo and rotated them like stations…. We had a vibrating bouncer and a singing bouncer that we rotated…the twin z Pillow was used more than anything…they slept on it, sat on it, ate on it ….used until 10 months… we kept a pack and play in the family room for 5 months and that is where they took naps until they started to roll…guess what, they didn’t need a dark room that was white noise….babies sleep through a lot… we woke them up every 3 hours to eat during the day no matter what, we always had them eat at same time…but at night they let them sleep they quickly slept 5-6 hours at night and by 5 months slept 8-12 hours… they used mini cribs in the nursery …changing table was kind of a waste…with twins, we made a place on the floor that way you don’t leave one somewhere to go change them
Soup! So many kinds and easily frozen in flat packs in gallon zip tops!
You always have the google and the phone a mom option. Don't stress too much about education for the babies. You've got this.

freezer meal suggestions: spinach lasagna, carrot and ginger soup (sooo good and easy to eat too!), and curry that you can put on rice or eat as is !

Omg cheese and broccoli pasta (I’m gluten free so I know you have to find a good gf pasta) I make mine vegan, freezes really well. So does veggie sweet potato, butter bean curry!! xxx

Just discovered you guys. Can't wait to follow your journey of becoming moms and having twins! She seems a little more chaotic than you guys are, but Colleen Ballinger had twins not too long ago and she might have some good content for you guys.
One thing I would get if you haven’t. Nipple shields. They help if baby can’t latch ❤️
I know that all women’s bodies are different and that every pregnancy/baby is different but I can’t get over how SMALL Allie looks, I watched Colleen Ballingers whole twin pregnancy journey and her bump got really big and it was a lot bigger at 20 weeks compared to Allie. Crazy to me that two people can look so different growing two humans. sorry if this came off rude, I don’t know how to say what I mean lol I love you guys!!

Minimalist Baker has delish veg meals on her website that are all 10 ingredients or less and really simple to make. I've made probably two dozen of her recipes and loved each one. And I do double batches and freeze half!

I love your channel! I am also a married lesbian in Canada, but just starting on the TTC journey. How are you preparing regarding work? How long are you two planning on taking for maternity/parental leave? I am not sure what we would do regarding that…
You be OK plus you will have plenty of help from your families just Remember they are your Babies Yes Listen to Different Opinions from Family Friends and other You Tubers . Unfortunately Babies Don't Come with Manuals like Tvs etc. And Each one is Different. So Good luck.
After they born mow the lawns vacuum the house etc when they are a Sleep They Would have more Noise in the 40 weeks. Than they will have in there life time. Plus at the end of the day they will sleep better. Let them get dirty inside and side it helps builds there Natural Defense Against Colds flus .
Also try Watching Living Rosa they Had 4 Girls witch includes Twins. And they Did it the Same way as you Guys did Mandi Carried all 4 But they where Tara's Eggs. Living Rosa on TH-cam.

If you want the same crib I would just get it cause so much is back ordered and I was told if u truly want something then just get it cause if u wait it might not be there at all
And yes, I've always thought the what to expect app is very inaccurate with the fruit sizes compared to baby....

Gluten-free lasagna with eggplant, ricotta/mozzarella, zucchini, plus spinach if you want. Or use a meat substitute if that is what you prefer.
I think they are both vegetarian so this is a good recipe because neither of them eat meat lol

Yes many do, it even says "soother" on the packaging. I always called them binkies or pacies when I lived in the US so it took a bit of adjusting when I moved to Canada. My daughter called hers a binky- it was easiest for her to say.

Hiii I highly recommend a book called " On Becoming Baby Wise" written by Gary Ezzo and Robert Bucknam. My good friend, who had 2 sets of twins suggested it to me, was fabulous!
