Someone once said that Britain has a good climate but it's just the weather that's often awful and it can't get much more depressing than cleaning windows on a wet windy day. The double glazed windows in the UK are very different to the ones here which are sliding windows in a painted aluminium frame not covered in PVC which seems to only come in one colour whereas here we can have a range of colours for window frames. One double glazed sliding windows weighs about 25kg.
