I tried spatial audio on some Beats buds, and it sounded like tinny garbage. Almost all of the low frequencies were reduced, and the upper mids and highs because ear-piercingly shrill. I definitely don't recommend it. At least, not until Apple figures out how to do it without the ruinous effects on equalization.
Just gave these things a test run holy cow you nailed it. As a disabled firefighter fighting a rare muscle disease music is so important to me to maintain motivation I need. You rock🤙🏽headphones sound great easy to operate.
I still have the studios made by monster from 2008 or 9 and they sound better than the solo 4. The solo 4 sound worse than $10 headphones I've got before
What I would like to know is if the the plastic and battery tolerates cold temperatures. My beats solo 3 would always die at about +1 °C. Also, at -15 °C the plastic got so fragile that it broke straight across the plastic when I took them of. Not to mention the ear pillows that started to loose their skin after 6 months. So, I have little hopes for how durable the new headphones are, however, in my search for more durable headphones I've had to accept that when it comes to sound, comfortability and style... beats simply can't be beat by other brands. Still it be useful to know their temperature range so I don't bring them out when it's too cold :)
Meh. My last set of these gave good sound, but the leatherette packed it in after about 14 months. I even put leather protector on them. I got them in the Apple Store, ( a few tears ago now) so it’s made me wary.
You don’t know what you’re talking about, my friend just got a pair and we compared them to my solo pros, the solo 4’s built quality felt like trash, the sound is also trash. These headphones aren’t worth 200 bucks. It’s 2024 what a great idea to make headphones without ANC and transparency.
It’s amazing how different the impressions of two people can be. We’ve reviewed over 50 pairs of headphones and I can honestly say that I 100% believe everything I say in this video. But I respect your opinion!
Just bought them. The sound quality is absolutely garbage especially when compared to the solo 3s. Waste of money, will be returning these for another pair of solo 3s asap
In short NO the long answer is still No without anc it isnt worth the 200 usd it would be about a 60 ish or so i would think that would be a game changer. Heck the beats studio buds + is way ahead of the solo 4

Akg ear buds from samsung are half the price, and you get active noise canceling you don't with solo 4.

Good point, my Beats Solo 3’s fall off my head after a few seconds if I lean forward. I do have a smaller sized head though.
obviously they throw these beats in the garbage and listen to their music on their $40000 speakers in their home gym
this sounds incredible.... I'm pretty sure the leather part will fall apart in 6 months but they sound incredible

It's great on an actual atmos surround setup! Just on headphones with spatial audio... not so much.
