Enjoyed watching Your game... Rebels and Patriots and Lion Rampant are good rule systems and are very adaptable, in my gaming group we use both sets for more formal battles and not at skirmish level.. I have even used these rules for a massed 6mm Napoleonic battle where each unit of 150 figures represents a brigade or division ... The main thing is we never remove casualties because for us it looks so much better and our figures of all scales are on multiple bases Look forward to seeing more Napoleonic action 😊
@@raycarpenter6466 I love the rules system - arguably my all time favorite. I do think the Naps period just “feels” more authentic with unit formations, but at this size of encounter it wouldn’t really make sense.
Thanks for sharing your game. This is the size of game I would like to try with the 28mm Napoleonics I've been painting. Did you have to change anything in the rules for Napoleonics, or do you have any recommended house rules? My figures are single based, I'm hoping that doesn't matter?
@@JackSargePainting if anything, single bases would be better! I didn’t change any rules to meet the period, it all worked far easier than I anticipated. The best thing is, you don’t need to have massive armies.

Great looking skirmish game, lovely figures and terrain, and nice touch with the civilians !
@@philRminiatures thank you Phil! I think I need a little more terrain for the period.
Looks good. Hopefully Liam and I will see you at Fall-in.
@@ZeththeVile sadly I’m missing this one, otherwise I’d love to join you both in a game. Hopefully Cold Wars!
Looked like a fun one. I haven't caught the Napoleonics bug yet, but I'm sure it will get me sooner or later. Are you heading to Fall-in this year?
@@chriscouchoud I can’t make it this year but I’m hoping to get to Cold Wars
Amazing set up and terrain love it!
@@MedievalWargamer thank you my friend. A project to keep me busy until the 100 Years War book for Hail Caesar is released!
@@axisandaliens Really??! I was not aware i will check it out for sure!!
@@MedievalWargamer I heard it on the plastic crack podcast being mentioned at the Warlord open day.
@@axisandaliens Good News!!
