Thanks for the tips! I'm hoping to start investing in Lian once I max out my main two teams.
This is very helpful...I use Lian quite a bit and knew what heroes she would do well against but wasn't sure who was causing her problems and why...
I love Lian and Andvari. They are so underrated.

Bring back full team matchups, it was one of the main reasons I watched these videos to learn how to build counters and counters to the counter.

I like how the dev's mix things up with changing stats on old characters, I don't have lian leveled because I didn't think she was worth it before, but now this gives me new goals
I just received a skin for Lian from the outlands chest today too I might have to level her up and try and figure her out somewhere into a team soon thanks for the videos
I just got her Solar skin from outland chests today! The stat upgrade is also armor for the mobile version.
lian is also very strong against karkh, since his knock up will put him to sleep so no tendrills will hit :-(

I have acquired all the characters from the 'Force of One' team - Aurora, Maya, Celeste, Lian & Phobos. When you attack them (maxxed out on automatic) in a Guild Battle, they aren't nearly as effective without Axel or Mara pets.
:) I mostly avoid Lian with my Kiera, however that all depends on the level difference & if I can effectively put another damage dealer in to take her out.
Completely agree. Because Lian is considered more of a counter hero, I would recommend new players to focus on more permanent pieces to their team.
On Mobile, Lian and Satori is a good counter against K'arkh; this is a good alternative for those who don't have Andvari.
My biggest problem with time travel is how many days would you pack for?
A Lian with patronage from violet Mara lvl 100+ causes Lian's violet skill to charm for 10s and more. Gray skill, with Mara max stats = 23s charmed.
I still dont know how I feel about her but I lvl up characters evenly so I might find her a spot

I have been having a lot of trouble lately with kiera teams on my server. I may need to stop neglecting lian and level her up a bit.

Awesome, I like her but not using her at the moment, just slowly leveling her up.
I think your tiers with descriptions is more insightful than just saying S,A,B,C,D Tiers because those lack context to how they arrive at where people fall. Granted I wouldn't recomend anyone be a slave to tiers in their choices since you can't always get the heroes you want right away and have to use who you got to some degree. Also this is a game that gets periodically patched and new heroes might have better synergy with someone later. In anycase I atleast know what this character is good for should the need arrise for a counter at some point.
She just soloed my 4x80+ heroes by repeatedly charming them and killing them one by one
Imagine Lian doing what Dark Star does... but to the whole party...
When you do these hero Videos have you thought about talking what skins are better for the hero. And what ones give the most benefit?
My server has a lot of keira and the only way i counter her is with lian. May team is astaroth/ishmael/jorgen/lian/martha. its a single target kill team which is good at taking out the backline while the whole enemy team is in sleep. if the other team has astaroth Martha combo i swap jorgen for sebastian and go for a stall team that slowly chips away at tank. once tank is done ishmael wipes the floor with the rest of the heroes.

a solo Lian cannot be countered like that

Hmm, so that's what was causing me so much trouble.
Lian is a fun counter to Cleaver, who is a pretty decent counter to Marthas. However my Lian is still level 1 lol.
I'm trying to level up Lian.
I need 250 more sour stones to do that...

Keira gets charmed over and over again after almost every attack she throws, even if there is someone who purifies it really is hard for Keira to damage the enemy.
once in a pet adventure, i think the game bugged and her charm never dissipated, long story short my team killed every other hero and timed out because lian couldn't kill my team -_-

Wow! I never knew much about Lian and didn't understand her value until now. My Bob team can struggle against strong Keiras and Cleavers. Sounds like Lian's charm skill can nullify or at least minimize Keira's and Cleaver's attacks. But if Karhk's AOE attack will wake everyone up, does it make sense to include Lian on a Karhk team? Would you use Lian on your Bob team?

On your Bob team since Bob is a little hard to get what other damage dealer or what other setup can you use or which you use until you can get Bob I love the videos kitten coming to help me out a lot
in the Charlie Bob team no one is replaceable, there is considerable dropoff if you change anyone. Certainly not K'arkh, he's the one doing the damage. Maybe just maybe Jorgen for Nebula, or very good Ziri for Astaroth

The two are almost similar but have differences with level minimums for accessing certain features. Other than that they're about the same especially when it comes to events.
Lian for the blender, thank goodness her charm is level dependent!
You say your videos are guides are for new players, but you always demo with max level heroes. I wish you would talk about spells that are mitigated by enemy's level, like LIam's purple ability. Specifically when/if you should level up the spells. Is it worth leveling it up first knowing that there is a good chance that the opponents are higher level? Should the other spells be leveled up first to guarantee value? Things like that is valuable for low level players.
