what's up Charlie, hope you're doing well. Iris does great against tanks like you mentioned except rufus. I have a maxed out Corvus and she does destroy my team. My main maxed out completely just shy of getting them maxed for ascension is Corvus, Morrigan, Sebastian, Yasmine and celeste, ill swap out Yasmine for Dante and sometimes use them both depending on situations. Iris still will kill Corvus, along with the monkey and Dorian. It a crazy mix. Thanks for all your hard work.
Charlie your point about coordination with the guild is the one I care most about. I've been saying for months that in my guild the great advantage was to have Chaos, Satori, Twins, Keira, Kharkh, Yasmine teams all above 250k (S567), so basically we can defeat anyone under 400k. HW isn't a game meant to play alone, if you are not in a guild your game is basically 30% of what it could be.
i think the only heroes you "need" are the heroes to help you and your guild perform well vs osh. on top of that, i'd rather play a fun team than do what everybody and their mom is doing, which on my server is rufus/dante. it is so boring.
It is imo wrong to think of Iris as just a tank killer. As she does so much damage, when she is placed near Dorian, she is so incredibly tough to kill, that I consider her a must have hero on web. No idea, how she will be mobile, but she is a beast on web
So Charlie I like playing against teams of a higher level and having that rock to their scissors team for them so having a handful of heroes that are hard counters to a wide array of heroes leveled up so I can plug them into my main team when I need to to hard counter others is nice. for whatever reason my server has a lot of Satori teamed so plugging Phobos in instead of one of my other back line mages often is all it takes to take down their Satori team with my sometimes even under leveled main team which is a crit team
Like I said in my comments on the livestream, I think that while a new hero may not be at 100% of their potential because they only have one skin at release the history over many of the last several releases even with only a single skin the new heroes have been key to several top level teams at least on mobile. Plus because of the single skin they are faster to get to a viable level and it is easier to keep up with new skins as they are released than to build out 4 or 5 skins that are necessary to build out other heroes.

Iris was HUGE in Facebook/Web. People, like me, who invested in her early won LOTS and still win a lot with Iris. Your 'you'll never catch up' argument only applies if you didn't invest in Iris early and often.
Personally I like Iris - she is very vicious in combination with area effect characters, especially Dorian & Keira. When she yanks out the opponents soul the area effect (her flying demon piranha, Keira's knife wheel and especially Dorian's Bats) not only damage the soul but also the body doing multiple damage (and multiple vampirism for the bats), This continues even after the Tank drops. She is very useful against the Basilisk and other powerful campaign non-boss monsters.
Iris can work in baby more and some heroes do work in baby mode aka Arachne. So skip or not its just what someone has to choose . I dont like stick with one team... yea when you have more power than the other one you will win cause you stick in that main team and the other that hasnt even if he/she uses the counter heroes will lose so the game wants you/us to spend to be able to play. Yea ok i know F2P is an option but you shouldnt have great expectations
After XeSha and Amira my FOMO is always high. They are such great heroes and I regret not spending in them. Still, I decided months before that my team would have been the Satori one, so not purchasing them but focusing maybe on skin stones or objects allowed me to be one of the best f2p players in my server and reaching top 10 in the arena. HW is a game full of beautiful teams, I really wanted the undead blender and the engeneers, but to archieve that you need to buy a lot of resources with real money, so at some point you have to decide if you want to be a whale or to be happy with your team.
Well, but the redo the heros in some 'ways' is a fresh idea. What about the players who has built their 5 core team some time before? Do we need to redo our teams or stick the 'obsolete' way?
I have tried my Iris team against Charlies Khark team and totally demolish it. Guess what Charlie. She beats your Khark now, let alone after she gets extra skins.

Iris is amazing, had huge issues with undead teams, i built her up and along with Isaac, now i eat undead teams for breakfast with Iris and Isaac.

i like to use her/ biscuit and dorian/merlin/axel. and she can pretty much handle anything as long as dorian doesn't die.
Or you know, you could not go faction happy and use heroes with great synergy.
Coordination is key! We didn't do this early on with titans, and now our guild lineup is strong yet imbalanced. We should have planned together more.
