That super clutch at the end with an emptied player deck was exciting. Recently I was considering buying all 3 Pandemic spin-offs based on popular universes ("Reign of Cthulhu", "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King" and "Star Wars: The Clone Wars"), but at the end I purchased only "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" because it is the most developed and polished gameplay design among the 3 spin-offs (OG Pandemic is in a league of it's own). If the Star Wars theme is not a problem for you (loved by many but also hated by some) I definitely recommend it because the gameplay is really enriched - the cards you collect are actually your squad of troops and vehicles that can fight for you (exhaust to use and discard if killed in action) and many more new and exciting mechanics. It's really good. Now with that being said I love the Cthulhu mythos as a theme (got the Complete fiction of H.P. Lovecraft and I collect all the Arkham Horror novels now) and despite watching many other Reign of Cthulhu playthroughs and recently decided NOT to get "Reign of Cthulhu" and "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King", but only "Star Wars: The Clone Wars", now after your playthrough here I gave up and just purchased the game. @@Michael.Virtus Hey, thanks so much for watching. We were super excited about this as like you , the Cthulhu lore is such an amazing world to get lost in. We opened it up and just played on camera , not that we wouldn’t have made rule mistakes anyway - we always get something wrong somewhere. So thanks for pointing them out to us. We might take your advice and grab a copy of the the Star Wars pandemic, we have a rebellion to playthrough but that’s a mammoth filming. We have OG pandemic and also season 1 legacy. We are super happy that the playthrough made you bite the bullet , we had no idea that our little on screen antics could influence so much.
