    Why would anyone downvote a review like this!? Bill does a thorough job in his explainations and showcasing, and adds valuable practical knowledge based input on the products. I swear most of these people troll out of sheer boredom, and a sense of self inadequacy.

    • @adamwest8711

      Scotty BSmeter I’ve asked the very same question myself... Maybe it’s Bill’s wife and friends getting grumpy with how much time he devotes to giving us regular content!

      I suspect they probably think they're down voting the product.

    • @ollieb9875
      @ollieb9875 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Here's one thing about downvotes that might be worth considering.. As channels get more popular, the chances of them showing up in people's feeds as "recommended for you" also increases. These might be people interested in things like education, engineering, mechanics, for example, but not specifically lockpicking, just to pull something out of my behind. Anyway, these people downvote simply to make their feeds more relevant to them, it's not necessarily a reflection on Bill or the product. In either case, youtube really doesn't care up or downvotes, they both count as "engagement" and as long as people are "engaged" so they can sell ads or keep you watching videos, that's really all they care about.

    I would ditch the city rake and put in a fine feeler gauge for decoding locks. I think the S rake does an amazing job, if you are raking too long, you might as well have single pin picked the lock.

    You did hurt my sensitive feelings though, the last tool and I said to myself ah I know what that is, it is a bypass tool then Bill says it's a knife. Oh the pain and misery of getting it wrong.

      Do what I do when my wife talks. Until she is finished, I have no opinion. Then I simply agree with whatever she said, whether I do or not. (If not, I keep it to myself). Seriously, Peterson calls it a "knife" and Sparrows calls it a "bypass tool". Who an say which is correct? When I stab myself in the hand with it, it FEELS like a knife...

    • @bosnianbill
      @bosnianbill  5 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Yeah, we don't "coordinate" on who is reviewing what. I can't even coordinate the color of my socks... The content of each of these kits is pretty much subjective. Some people like ALL hooks, while others prefer a lot of rakes. I guess it depends on your skill level, picking style and personal preferences. Insofar as cost, this is often a point of complaint but please recognize that quality costs more. There is an old saying by John Ruskin: "There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper - and the people that consider price only are this man's lawful prey".

    Bosnian Bill and fans,
    I lived in Warsaw, Poland back in the late nineties and the door key to my apartment had a huge 14-5 cm. long skeleton-style key with three sets of double-sided bits. I'd never seen anything like it. You had to stick the key in one third of the way to engage the first set of bits, turn two and a half to the left, push in another third to engage the second set, turn once to the right, then the last third and turn to the left, and the middle set of bits was perpendicular to the first and the third!
    How would you pick such a lock and what is it called.
