Thanks for the help! This tutorial was a great way to start out in this app! A drawing tutorial someday would be awesome! Coming from Illustrator, Premiere, and Photoshop, the drawing I am used to is much different compared to Animate! To say the drawing in Animate is annoying is a little strong... but it is ... different! Ha ha! And hey, what's with all the negative comments below? Free, well made, perfectly described content here people!
Well, I had a closer look at your tutorial series and saw the introduction to the drawing tool.... so I guess I will do that one! Embarrassing. But hey, is there a good workflow between AI and Animate? It might be nice just to draw there and import the graphics.
@@joelizak6772 Glad you enjoyed my videos. I appreciate your comments. You can import Illustrator files into Animate, but it doesn't always come in exactly the same. But you can also use the pen tool in Animate... it's the same pen tool that they have in Illustrator. Enjoy!
hi. so sorry I missed this. Sounds like your guide must have a break in it? And did you create two keyframes? Perhaps you can watch again, start over and try it again. Hope it works for you. best, mark headTrix, Inc. | Adobe Certified Training & Consulting www.headTrixTraining.com Consulting | Design | Development | Training
Hi Moiza. Sorry i missed this comment. It is still there, they tried to simplify it, SO now when you click on the 1st keyframe in your animation you will see "Orient to path" in the properties panel under the Frame section which it selects automatically. No need to click on the instance on the stage anymore. Hope this helps! Is there a suggested order to watching the videos on this channel? Looks like good stuff, but I feel like I'm jumping around and not learning this software in a logical order.
Hi Mike, my Getting Started Series is 5 videos to get you started, and waiting for Adobe to post some new ones I have created. You can view that here: th-cam.com/play/PLYeXZOOCIwCuzJTgzS1ODTe-T8FrmPty9.html Then some videos explain certain features. But this should be a great starting point! Hope this helps! cheers, Mark
Great, you can do Character Animation with Animate, and lip synching and walk cycles using movie clips! headTrix, Inc. | Adobe Certified Training & Consulting @t
the 1st frame is locked to the guide by default, for 2nd frame you have to drag the center point to the guide. If it is not snapping on to the guide, make sure Snapping>Snap to Objects is selected under the VIEW menu. Hope that helps ~mark headTrix, Inc. | Adobe Certified Training & Consulting www.headTrixTraining.com Consulting | Design | Development | Training
Glad you enjoyed the video. My voice changes a bit here and there, and audio had glitches, and had to be re-recorded or be fixed in Premiere, so not perfect.... but its free! I need detailed character animation. It'll loop for 3-4 seconds. Like walking, idle, facial expressions, lip sync etc...
Great, you can do Character Animation with Animate, and lip synching and walk cycles using movie clips!

@@GokdenizCetin I am in discussions with Adobe for the next set of videos, one should include using the bones tool which could help you! Stay tuned!
