you're the only player I've seen so far to use screen like this! the fact that you can cut off entire sight lines from advantageous positions like enemy snipes and spawn high ground is absolutely insane!

If screen never becomes transparent for Allies (which it should), then I could see thermal foil being really good in solo queue and maybe competitive

Has anyone ever noticed that sometimes a weapon takes an extra shot or two to kill?
For instance: a 3 shot kill weapon taking 4 shots or even 5 to kill.
There must be another unknown combat mechanic out there.

I’ve always felt this was just lag before the enemy actually registers it splats

Falloff damage is less vs direct damage. That could be what you're seeing. If you fire above the target and the shot drops down, it does less damage. Try it on the dummies in the lobby.

I just checked personally, and a single drop of ink does 18.7 points of dammage, from the squeezer.
That number is not listed on the 2 most popular splatoon sites.

@@crabtankstudios correction, i did find a chart, but its explained in terms of frame rate and not in measurable distance.

The amount of damage varies based on the distance the drop travels (height)
