    Hi Renae! You inspire me. I finally got my carrots canned. Four pints are the Honey Gingerr recipe, and four pints just chicken broth. I am excited to try them. 😊

    The boss was letting us sample pickled apples, carrots, in these new fangled bags. I liked the carrot one, not so much the apple. Not to impugn your work, Mrs. Renea!

      I don't think I would care for pickled apples either but the carrots are good pretty much anyway.

    I’m so scared of a pressure cooker, I don’t own one and I don’t think I ever will. But I’ve heard of an electric canner. I think I might get one before this summer gets here. Thank you for sharing.

      You will love them. Check out a gal from Rose Red Homestead. She has electric pressure canners and teaches how to use them. She is one of the best canning gals out there.

      They are. You should try them. They're really good opened and fried in a little butter or in the oven.

    i didn't know till recently that liquid measurements and dry ingredients have different measuring cups you were using dry ingredients for the liquid is that gonna matter in the recipe

    • @LittleVillageHomestead
      @LittleVillageHomestead  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      a cup is a cup and there is no difference between dry and liquid measurement. Measured by volume.
